@@AyenLogic The difference is that Gith are a race and nazi is a political party. You shouldn't have a 'base emotion' directed at anyone based solely on what they look like because you could be wrong. Like hating every German person because Germans were nazis.

I feel really weird about finding the Githyanki women cute in Baldur's Gate 3. And Lae'zel's grumpiness is adorable... there's something wrong with me.
playing as a gith or drow is so fuckin funny sometimes. the responses you can give and the reactions you get are just. hilarious. no, tiefling child who tried to scam me, we actually kill more children than we kidnap.
Shadowheart talks a lot of shit for a low level cleric. She certainly doesn't lack confidence, regardless if almost every class can kill her with little effort.
@@robinhood7293 She's definitely writing checks she cannot cash though, and unlike Lae'zel (who comes across as slightly insecure and defensive), she seems utterly assured in her superiority. I figure she's lived a very sheltered life however.

The second dialogue with Shadowheart is disappointingly lazy. Why is she suddenly talking to you as though you aren't also a Gith? You've done nothing in front of her to earn her trust over Lae'zel, so her being against working together shouldn't have changed.
dont forget this is an older version of the game, im not sure if there is new or different dialogue but id assume so considering the massive overhauls to the story and gameplay

Larian needs to fix those Shadowheart dialogues for when you play as a gith. It doesn't make sense for her to badmouth a gith... right next to the gith player...
I know it may be a small thing , but the way this game uses circles instead of boxes to move really break that table top feeling I get from games like solastra , I really hope they add some form of movement option that doesn’t use the weirdly colored string and circle method of momvement , it’s game killing to me , but I could just be a weirdo

Played a bard githyanki and picked many of the responses that would annoy Lae'Zel. It entertained me greatly. I love this game.

My Tav is the Legolas of Githyanki. She's cheeky and friendly... by Githyanki standards.
They've changed her character a fair bit since this. She's not quite as angry anymore.
This dialogue is still in the game if you don't save her on the ship and are playing as a gith. I tried this as Lae'zel and the dialogue is identical.

What do you mean? Inflict wounds the strongest spell in the early game. A non-crit can hit for 30 damage lvl 1. Low level clerics are op.
What you said is literally applied to everyone in the party. Low Level everyone is fragile. Gotta separate mechanics from narrative.

it runs OK even on a cheap PC, and this is not an FPS game, 30 FPS is completely enough to play it

5e has both options for Squares and Hexs
There's a mod on Nexus Mods that changes the movement to the WASD-keys movement like most other games use.
