All my life of 71 years, my favorite woman with a guitar was Joan Baez - until Laura Marling. 'Nuff said.
she's soo shyy. and her voice, omg, i'm in love
I listen because I must
I really like how in this part of TH-cam, dislikes just don't exist. It's like negative people come here and are healed by the beauty.
her face is so young but her soul seems to have lived a hundred years,
I love this
Joni Mitchell's soul is coming through loudly and clearly in this song.
Damn, she's brilliant
Music with absolute true integrity, it takes you not to leave you, love her music!
She must know what she's doing to all of our hearts with such beauty. It hurts so much.
Stunning how such a young woman can write such mature songs.
And there you have it. A genius.
Its like she gives a piece of herself every time she sings. Incredible
Laura Marling is amazing - this is a beautiful song.
beautiful so beautiful
Her voice is so cute.
That Laura has a cold here is so wonderful; I'm sure she was having a rubbish day, but the performance is quite special as a result.
I love her
So happy I came across this amazing girl. She sounds loads like Regina Spektor, Regina's kinda alternative stuff anyway :) love love love
she is gorgeous :)
Great song from a great album :)
This is brilliant
beautiful
es tan extraña y su música es tan hermosa
Here in 2019!
Im Sure we are all equal just have more of different aspects
This song is beautiful.
such a beautiful looking girl and amazing talent yet so modest....
I used to be so kind... Hmmm I used to be so kind...😍
@wordyousaid Yes it it :) I love her
Not bad Marling... not bad ;)
1/2, exactly...
Let me marry your voice.
I'm in love with a girl
Don't forget to subscribe!
beautiful so beautiful : be you darling
@wordyousaid isnt it already out?
HALF, I'd say
she reminds me of regina spektor. Love this though.
@InParticularNobody laura maring was born in rural hampshire, UK. she doesn't act too smart for her shoes, but it seems you do :p
Never figured out what I believe.
I believe she was 19 when this was filmed.
'Neutral' is a misnomer for accents. Maybe what you're looking for is 'standard.' Bottom line, Laura is incredibly talented, no matter how you label her singing or speaking accent.
she makes it look so effortless but it is certainly not
...well of course.
what guitar is she playing, is that a Martin?
Martin is the best so i assume yes, it’s a Martin
I listen to a LOT of songs, and accents have yet to affect my decision on whether or not to like a particular song.
That's because "Half" is a fraction.
That fraction would be 1/2. but i know what your saying
I guess that fraction would be...1/2? Hehehe
I think that too... and I'm a man.
ha she's funny.
Argh! Coffee-through-the nose LOL!
So...pray tell...what's a neutral accent?
American?
She does look better as a brunette I think...
But there is always a note of sadness to Laura, a kind of nihilism that scares me. I long ago experienced the same sense when Janis Joplin died after exposing her innermost soul on stage. From whence is this self-destruction?
@poopypad I'm from England and I know all about her back-story, thanks. It just really irritates me that she puts on a false American accent nowadays. It's flaky. I much prefer it when people sing in their own accent, that's all.
She's not singing in an American accent at all, and i'm English
Delete this then go follow your dreams.
Is that a new Hampshire accent, or a New-Hampshire accent??. Get REAL please Laura. You're better than this - sing in your own voice please..
...well of course.
