They should integrate that start stop think into police cars. Those things sit on the side of the road all day idling looking for speeders. Lot of wasted fuel and strain on the engine.
Maybe the cops should start using 3 series. One of these costs just a few thousand more then a Ford Taurus police car. They use the 3 series in the UK.
Is there any way to tell the line/package?..my BMW is a sport line I belive but it doesn't have the rearview camera, it doesn't have the smart key entry or lock on the door like the one in the owner's manual...most of the features in the owner's manual are not there...how can you tell the line or the type of package? And would it be possible to get it without those, are these features standard? Thank you.

Here's a short list of answers to your questions.The Sport Line for this model mainly comes with interior upgrades such as: sport leather steering wheel, sports seats, high-gloss black trim, and exterior upgrade that comes with the sport also are: 18 inches wheels and black colored side view mirror.If you want the rear view camera and parking assist system, you'll have to add the Driver assistance package for about another $950.The smart key-less entry comes with the Premium Package that also includes many upgrades like: Mooroof, Lumbar support, etc. For about $3,100And some features seen in this video like the Head Up Display and Navigation System comes with the Technology Package which is about another $3,150Yes, It can add up pretty quickly and a lot of times we don't think that these features are extra. Solid overview. I was sad to see the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel. My older 2007 BMW has the cruise control on the left-hand steering column lever, and it works so well. Any thoughts on why they changed it?
