I'm in south Thailand and live on the mainland near don sak pier, so not far from koh samui and koh phangan. I'm thinking of going further north to settle down in hua hin with family. I've been living in phuket for almost 7 years before moving to khanom/sichon.
@@Usernamegigiboe That is great! I am just seeing you are thai, I am curious to know what made you want to move? How did you find Phuket so far? We would love to know! Hua Hin is a great destination to settle down for a family, very quiet, safe and laid back kinda place. We advise you to do your due diligence with property and prices. As it is the case with most of Thailand, as you probably know by now, knowing a local will get you quite far. Prices overall are lower than the rest of Thailand, probably similar to Chiang Mai. Expect less tropical scenery, I would say, compared to south of Thailand. Hope this helps
@@topiklife thanks a lot for your advice. I am thai and grew up in central Europe. I came back to Thailand 15 years ago. Phuket was nice to stay and during October - April is the water blue crystal clear. But it's a bit hectic there and during high season the traffic is in some areas horrible, the property prices are also higher than before, so everything is getting more expensive. But phuket has everything on one island, great nightlife in patong, city and local atmosphere in phuket town, calmer areas like Laguna, bangtao etc. and it has a bridge that connects with the mainland. So it's a good place to live!
@pharrrolyfe that’s dopee we will have another video covering Koh Samui’s best spots and where to visit. Make sure you come back and let us know your experience
