M1A1 Abrams in 1/35 von Rye Field Models
Ich baue heute das Rückgrat der US Army, den gewaltigen M1A1 Abrams in 1/35 in der Version wie er 1991 im Golfkrieg eingesetzt wurde. Bis auf die Beladung kommt der Modell so aus der Box und lässt sich wunderbar bauen.
Zum Einsatz kam halt noch das modern military equipment set von Tamiya. Zum bemalen und altern kamen mit masse Acrylfarben der Marke Ammo of Mig zum einsatz und Ölfarben der Abteilung 502.
Lackiert wurde mit der Harder und Steenbeck Evolution mit einer 0,3mm Düse.

Today i build the backbone of the US Army, the mighty M1A1 Abrams in 1/35 scale, like it used in the Gulfwar in 1991. Excepted the stowage the whole model is build out of the box and its great to build.
For the stowage i used the modern military equipment set by Tamiya. Painting and weathering are done with acrylic paints by Ammo of Mig and oilpaints by Abtl. 502
The airbush i used was the Harder and Steenbeck Evolution with a 0.3mm nozzle

Nice decal. The Eagle Globe and Anchor with Palm was a unit in the US Marine Corps, USMC M1A1 Bravo Company 4th Tank Battalion They were stationed in my State of Washington. Yakima Washington, but now the Corps has gotten rid of our Armor.

VERY IMPRESSIVE! EXCELLENT CHIPPING, MUD, DUST, weathering, tracks, etc.,.... I can see those Tamiya duffell bags from their modern equipment set, and these are well-placed, tied in both physically, with painting-weathering, nice camo effect on personal gear stowage, etc., & strapped, stowed, very nice!.... the few little nitpicks I can see, are not even worth mentioning!....
(The edge chipping is perhaps slightly "over-scale", and could be subtler....some dark gray, brown, and black washes in a few places....some SLIGHT visible seams showing along edge of top hull/lower hull front edge, - that's a tricky detail on an Abrams model!....maybe a little TOO clean & unscratched on lower hull....stowage could use thin tape straps, etc., Like I said, LITTLE nitpicks!....)....
Overall, this is SOLID AMPS, or IPMS, National Model Show level work!.... I'd be proud to put this beast on the judges table at ANY model show!....srsly!....
Thank you really much for your comment. this is how critic (nitpicks) have to be used. i friend of mine who was in desert storm helped me a lot, with the stowage for example. their M1´s looked like gypsy wagons with all the stuff mounted.
@@DeLanScaleModels I'd be proud to put this beast on the judge's table at any model show.... The stowage, especially, has that "looks realistic" look....
(hint: carefully shape or sand flat, bottoms of duffels on turret top, packs on turret sides, etc., to more closely look like a soft bag that has conformed to the surface it's on....

Das stimmt nur leider dauern die auch immer sehr lange, aber es wird mehr davon geben.
@@DeLanScaleModels ich weiß finde es hält blöd angenommen ich will mir den Abrams kaufen und will wissen wie er gebaut wird und so und muss dann auf Teil 2 Teil 3 und so warten wenn alle Teile schon hochgeladen wurden stört es mit nicht
