The Spectre's dialogue is the sweetest to me because it's the only one where she acknowledges that an apology is warranted, and she still accepts it. Like that's _so_ good. Just as a subtle aside to highlight that route against the rest.
Spectre and Wraith are easily my favorite personalities, I'm a sucker for romance so I love HEA, Thorn, and the multiple where you decide to leave together, but Spectre and Wraith both best understand her own worth and assert it. Course, my favorite character of all time is Sylvanas Windrunner
Now this has me intrigued enough to try getting the Beast route first this time, and I've already played through it three times by now. *Edit:* And I'm sincerely sure "that" would be THE definition of 'an awkward start to a relationship.'
And in hindsight, it would also be *very* understandable if she did that after he left to get the knife but didn't tell her why. Especially if she did manage to swallow him whole the second encounter but he relents within ("Fine, you can leave") and lets her leave the Cabin without issue (and her coughing him back up). That would definitely be awkward if she realized he really did plan on freeing her from the cabin from the start, even if he didn't say it.
"but you don't belong down here. you came from somewhere else. you came from out there. so i consumed your dead heart, and i carried it in my throat, and i draped what was left of you on my back, and i threw myself against that door." -inexact quote
Maybe im biased because its my first vessle in my blind playthrough, but i think i like the Witch dialogue the most because it not only works in reference to the first time they met, but its also vague enough that it applies to their entire journey, its so sweet 😭
Especially if the beginning of the first encounter was when he left for the blade without saying anything, her managing to lock him in the basement, then by the second loop he offers that same blade to her to prove he's willing to risk trusting her (while rightfully believing he screwed up not telling her anything beforehand the first time). That would have also justified why else she'd apologize since she didn't help her case either if he reacted to her the same way she did, especially if it led to The Thorn and he successfully saved her.
Whoa whoa whoa. They added these in the last update? Shit. Now I kinda wish I replayed it and got the update. I'm holding out for the pristine cut, but damn I wanna see the new stuff first hand so badly man.
Not bad but the Thorn will always be my favorite. Their relationship feels nuanced, only normal looking chapter 3 princess, and you can get the narrator to decribe y'alls kiss XD
@@jedi_connor3030 a perfectly reasonable choice, If you’re looking for a more grounded and human relationship, then she’s definitely a go to. The appeal of stranger is that for all intents and purposes, it is the shifting mound, but now she thinks like a person instead of a living concept
I really like the concept of the Damsel. Like your mind turned her into an empty shell, whose only reason for existence is to make you happy. It's kinda sad. My favorite princess has to be the Adversary though. She sounds like a fun person to hang out with, minus the killing part. Or with it, I don't care. She's cool.
Super cool how you can kinda hear these slight intonations and traits from each of the respective vessels when speaking You can tell that it isnt just her being influenced by perception like normal and instead it really just sounds like shes reminiscing on her past and letting her old self peek through her memories as you naturally do when thinking Its very human
This means she's had enough time to think back and reflect on all of their interactions realizing that she wasn't an angel either, and owning up to it. Though the "first time we met I *ate* you" part could at least be covered as flirting if she accidentally blurts it out in public somewhere. Especially if blushing happens.
Not gonna lie, the fact that she accepts our apology no matter what happens is endearing. It's true that in most scenarios, she did something as bad to us either first or in retaliation. Honestly... it just makes her more likable, whether she's the sweeter or the more Tsundere-like Princess.
You forgot to get the one where you you stabbed her in the heart after she cut your neck open, or maybe you did it and got the reply for when you just died Anyway, there she says (The first time we met, I cut your throat open. Sure, you also killed me, but hey. That just makes us even.)
I'm pretty sure that happens if you ask the Narrator if he's sure she's unarmed, then make the attempt to kill her. For those curious. *Edit:* Nvm. It might be from when you straight up stab her first thing, then either remove the blade from her or check for a pulse (i.e. doubting that she's dead). Gotta double check this one sometime.
This isn’t just exclusive to this interaction btw, the princess acts and says different stuff depending on your first interaction, everything from tone, emotion and whatever’s being said
Thank you so much 🙏 I wanted to see them all myself but after three playthroughs in one morning I got kinda tired. At least I got all the vessels during the Shifty battle.
Well I found this video three days late for my own sanity. Still glad I found it though, good job! Although I did learn something! In my Razor beginning playthrough I wondered if she was armed and finished the job, and she says something different that time: "The first time we met I cut your throat open. Sure, you also killed me, but hey, that just makes us even." Wild how many tiny differences are accounted for.
What about the dialogue when we go down the stairs? I noticed that it is different depending on the first vessel that we met yeah? I'd like to see their diff dialogues too
I'm supprised the witch and beast dosen't lead to tsundere princess, heck even the nightmare. How'd they get the nice princess? Is it because of the part 3 routes?
Her personality at the end is determined by the very first decision you made in the first chapter. Take knife = tsundere, leave knife = nice, avoid cabin = stranger.
Leave to lock her in the basement after talking to her, and that's whether you take the knife or not. Can also happen if you run away after choosing whatever choices would have led to The Tower route and you'll attempt to lock her in the basement the same way.
@@Duke-RNukem well i qould argue that the shifting mound/princess is a woman. After all taoism is a big inspiration for the game and one of the dualities of yin and yang is male and female

Well, all the Spectre and Wraith do is possession and focus on their freedom. The OTHERS, thoroughly make us suffer. Plus intrest.
"The first time we met, I _ate_ you!"
No, that was the second time you met Quiet. The first time, you tor him apart like a wild animal.
Actually when she swallows you in the Beast chapter she confirms her Chapter 1 incarnation ate your heart after killing you.

Same here. I'm curious about the chapter 3 versions of the Damsel, Prisoner, and Spectre once it comes out.
Thanks to Axolotness for modding the game and allowing me easy acess to all this dialogue.
Thank you Axolotness! Very cool.
I still standby stranger princess being the best, she’s as close to the original without the lovecraftian egomania

Not me. I don't mind replaying any games multiple times if I have to; usually, I do it because it's that fun to play.

It is a love story after all. Because of everything, she loves you. There is no part of you she hates.
Stranger moment is my favorite.
Contrarian was endearing for that one. "After all we did, she just forgives us? Just like that?! You know, that means a lot."

There are so many voice lines that are in this game it take weeks love the princess and Nichole Goodnight her voice actress❤❤❤❤
'allo, good day, how y'all doing?
I can't help but call Stranger Princess the Princessprincessprincess...
Thank you my good sir 🙏🏻
Thank you for this ❤😢
they had an amazing attention to detail
My favorite are Damsel and Nightmare one's
2:30 I think there’s another line here, if you fight back instead of giving up
The amount of reactivity in this game is criminal.
When did Razor cut our throat open
How do you get the first Razor dialogue?
Trying to stab her but failing, and then straight up dying
Witch ending is my canon event
The stranger is so oddly beautiful, I want to hug her
is this taking place in London? 🤣
I it shows only to act 2 but part of me is wondering what act 3 versions said like for example Thorn, Moment of clarity, Fury...
There are no differences for those
Is there one for thorn?
This dialogue is only affected by your actions in the first chapter! Witch has a line, but Thorn and Wild don't.
@@europeanwildcat Yeah, it only covers the interactions based on which ones lead to the Chapter 2 Princess.

How to get the two different variants of Nightmare and Razor?
Wait, you can have voices other than the Hero in the cabin at the end of the game?
If your first princess was Stranger then Contrarian will also be there
What. How did you get these scenes
Are Witch and Thorn the same dialogues?
UNREALISTIC
women never apologise
In fact - It's not a woman. Well... Not in mental anyway. Narrator could shape any form, but in it still Life and Death itself, which is genderless.
