Sounds like a great stable of horses. I am particularly envious of the 2520. I have always wanted one of those but they are quite expensive these days. Thanks for watching!
Wow! I don't even remember that at all! I remember that O.C. subbed in our ag class but not that. Was that a field trip that maybe I missed for some reason?
@@BobontheFarmOhio Yes, it was a field trip to one of our class mates farm, may have been Roger S's but Rice had is Grandpa's 4020 there I believe. interesting non the less, I would suggest a "tour video" of the farm science review later on.
@@BobontheFarmOhio my plan (dream) is to buy a 150ac farm(somewhere in New England maybe) and just start with a 4020 just like you do on your farm.:) and if possible to rent 150ac so would have as many acres as we are currently have on my farthers farm in germany with around 300ac.
@@BobontheFarmOhio Iam 26 now, unfornately iam only halfway done with college (took a while to find my path of life you know) it depends on how i will get along on the farm with my sister after my dad retired and how the politics in this country and the EU are thinking about farming, right now they are basicly trying to destroy it so bonzonaro can destroy more of the rainforest so he can ship some more grain towards us, yep that is how it will happen.🤮
Wanna be farmer. You don't have the "huge money " it takes to survive in agriculture these days. Sad I salute what you are trying to do. But it wouldn't make it. But good luck to you.
@@royharmon8846 not to worry, Roy! I can farm the way I am until I'm too old to do it anymore. As long as you stay out of debt, it's not that hard. Thanks for watching!
I have a 1970 John Deere 2520 diesel. I also have a 1940 Ford 9N with a factory Dearborn buzz saw on it. Also 2 1958 520's. Very proud of my fleet.

I love to plow before sun up to late sun down!
Beautiful
Thanks for watching!
I probably don't have to tell you this but a 4020 will suck up 5 gallons of diesel before the engine warms up good!
They do like their fuel. 😃 Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video Bob, looking for to following you through the season. Love baker "moo" field 😆
Thanks for watching, Man! It's funny that Baker's namesake is not on the team anymore.
13:26 I haven’t seen someone do that and this is a creative idea I love it Minnesota. Elgin
I was in a silly mood that day! Thanks for watching!
Cool BoB! 😂
Thanks for watching, Danny!
Nice to see ! 😂
Ja mam JD 2140, pozdrawiam z Polski.
Reminds me of the chisel plowing demonstration O.C. Duke gave some years ago. I believe he used Mark Rice's 4020.

Hey! Is that the 4020 twin cylinder diesel with an 8 speed hydromatic transmission?
Drove one when I was eight! 😁 Quite the workhorse.
Diesel: yes. 8 speed powershift: yes. 6 cylinder in-line motor. Definitely a workhorse. Thanks for watching, Wayne!
Might have a little better luck taking the root balls out by running at an angle?
I do sometimes if the mood strikes me. Thanks for watching!
