Kids these days will probably ask what Burnout is. Sitting around in my room, with a CRT TV, causing carnage in 2005, that's my definition of Burnout. Probably one of my memorable moments. Chilling in the early fall, playing Burnout and being young.
Feeling exactly the same here! They just don't make games like this anymore. I play Burnout Paradise on the PC sometimes, but it just doesn't compare to the good times I spent nearly 10 years ago in my PS2 with Burnout 3... fortunately for me, both the console and the game still work, on the same old CRT TV (some things never changes :']).
When you're 8 years old and a video game introduces you to new music and bands that now, still in 2017, define who you are. Thank you Motion City Soundtrack and Burnout 3 (best one in the series, dont argue it, i own them all) for defining me a punk race car driver.
It's you versus the clock. Who's gonna win? Boost, Boost, Boost, people! It's all about speed and control. Take one insane burner, a street filled with traffic, spark the ignition and fly. 16 years later, and it's still the greatest racing game to hit the market.
It was 240p originally. Looks like they upgraded it to a 1440p version recently. It looks really good! They've been doing this with a lot of their older uploads recently. Guessing they're going back to the original reels of these videos and re-exporting them in higher quality.
@@ShOscar I Think you cannot edit an already uploaded video. You have to upload a new video with a new link if you want to reupload higher res. It says 17 years ago. So 1440p is already uploaded 17 years ago.
Lauren De Estrada I saw them live in the summer of 2006 when I was 14... I would love to blink right back to that over-crowded mob of people and resume my life from there..
The Wet Hot All-American Summer tour: All American Rejects, Newfound Glory, and… Motion City Soundtrack! I dunno if that counts as hitting it big, but I know I’m excited.
I loved this band, and foolishly grew to learn the bitter messages. This band taught me so much, about the music I want to make, the feeling I hope people share, how to live with yourself even if you're a loser.
20 year tour is happening 2023-2024 - and I’m still trying to recover from the change in my brain chemistry from first witnessing the keyboard handstand 17 years ago (I was 16/17 years old…I’m 35 now)
Dam this song makes me feel so hold man, time really fly's by so fucking fast. Back then the word time meant absolutely nothing to me, but now I've grown to appreciate it more.
My friend told me about this band. He said that these guys are playing a free show nearby this weekend. I just started listening to them about 20 minutes ago. I am going to see my favorite band this Saturday.

My first job was working for Vans in 2003. I was 16 years old and earned Employee of the Month at my store and got tickets to The Warped Tour 2003 as a reward. It was awesome! I was introduced to so many good bands I still love to this day, and the concert rocked!
Seeing them back when they played with converge, matchbook romance and from first to last was the biggest reason I kept myself away from acting out too much on my depression. Fuck, these dudes were so nice. Every time I saw them, it was seeing them for the first time. I'm sorry, I'm getting nostalgic, y'all. Fuck.
This was the first song I heard from them off of a Vans Warped Tour compilation over 12 years ago (holy shit I'm old). Now at 31, I still periodically play I Am The Movie. By far my favorite record from this group. The whole record from start to finish was just great!
I love the music and the memories of these songs, but MAN I am glad that these days are gone. It was boring, it was lonely, it was a waiting game, it was bland and it was anything but inspiring. Sitting watching the CRT TV in the basement just waiting for something to happen.
Long winded promises of future company Up close the sound remains the same Without the reign of terror over every momentary change We are exactly as before - by far the best part of the song for me.

I remember hearing this way back in '04, playing Burnout 3 for the first time at the tender age of 6.
