- In this episode of Crime Watch Daily Updates: The mysterious disappearance of William Cierzan, a husband who vanished after cooking dinner for his wife. Will was close with his nephew, Daniel, and the two watched golf together just before Will went missing. He was the last person to see Will alive, and his whereabouts didn’t exactly match up with what surveillance video showed.
Daniel became a person of interest in the case, and three years later, he was arrested on suspicion of murder.
In June 2022, Daniel pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter after initially entering a not guilty plea. A judge sentenced him to 11 years in prison, and he is eligible for parole in 2028.
Will’s body has still never been found.

Nobody should be entitled to even a parole hearing if he/she doesn’t reveal the location of the body/remains of the victim!!!

I don’t understand the sentencing. He only got 11 years for killing his Uncle. There are other people who would have gotten more time for the same crime. There is also a harsher sentence for drug offenses.
Sad to see the nephew who was supposed to be close to the Uncle be the one to take his life. 😢

I think that Will confronted Danny about selling stuff in his house for drugs, Danny got agitated and silenced Will with a blunt object. Danny got help from Chuck to bury the body.
That law have to change, they must found the body to make a plea deal.

Several news outlets reported that Daniel admitted to punching his uncle in the face during an argument and that he fell and struck his head. He also said that he dumped Will’s body in a trash bin in Soledad Canyon. However, his body was still never found. And 11 years is an awful injustice to Will and his family. This should’ve been a life sentence, hands down
I think anyone convicted of manslaughter, murder,etc., should have to tell where the remains are as part of their “remorse” . The parole boards should insist on it. You cant be truly remorseful and hold such important info to yourself.

So if Daniel was involved in gang activity, he could have been upset that his uncle was watching the Tiger Woods comeback. Daniel was also a drug addict. I hope they prosecuted his dad too.
Danny sounds like a spoiled never do well who got into drugs. His dad enabled him, probably for most of his life, which is why he turned out the way he did. I agree with you, The father should be prosecuted too.

That is 100% the nephews car, he backed into the drive way to load something which he didn't want others to see. Moving forward, I would track Nephews cell phone GPS location history, and if available, even the car's GPS too. I would also acquire most of the CCTV footage from all the residences and business for the direction he travelled. Run a thorough search of his vehicle for any trace of DNA, and get his clothes and shoes he was wearing on the day he went missing.

I am shocked at the unprofessional behaviour of this reporter. Screaming and chasing the car. Yikes
How is that unprofessional? The reporter is supposed to just call, make an appointment and hope to hell the person shows up? A REAL reporter CHASES after the car of the COWARD who is too afraid to just crack the window and say 'I didn't do it' or 'Talk to my lawyer' or 'Get off my lawn'. Anyone who simply clams up and drives away is guilty in my book. I would profess my innocence at EVERY opportunity as per aforementioned examples. Even an F... O.. is better than a pathetic silent, no eye contact, 'don't look or talk to me' shameful driving away. If there was absolutely no evidence whatsoever along with a credible alibi, then MAYBE I could accept the cowardly drive away, but I still would be adamant that I was innocent if a reporter, neighbor, or family member attempted to question me.
