Yes Martine I love curries ever since I was a little girl, and my Mom made keema curry.I prefer spicy curries, not creamy, and I love vegetarian curries, chola masala is a favorite, also I like dhals.Coconut milk is not dairy,it’s made from coconut pulp, and water.😊
I know it isnt but I didn't want to use coconut milk so this is what I came up with I was telling other people what they could use with the same curry thanks for watching Jeanette as always 🤗
@@foodfromafar-2935 Sorry Martine, the way you spoke sounded as if you thought coconut milk had milk in it,my apologies.I bought kohlrabi I am going to make a curry with it,and I think mong dhal, never made this combination before, but my Bengali friend says it’s a common curry in Bangladesh.
@jeanettevinten8743 Not at all thank you for telling me I appreciate that feedback as I didn't even think about it but will always listen to constructive criticism and helpful feedback so thank you 🤗🥰
Hello sorry for late reply have had such a shocking cold, anyway what an amazing meal so ready for the winter I cant remember have you done a Chicken stew and dumplings, love to see your take on it love to you and Mario as ever Maggie xxx
Awww I hope your feeling better Maggie I haven't done a chicken stew and dumplings but I can do that in the near future if u would like me to love as always martine 🥰🤗
Hi Martine, been a while since I've been on. That curry looks amazing, and it really is authentic as a good curry is basically a casserole anyway. I'm going to try that method but with conventional oven and a good cast iron casserole dish. Might throw in a bit of spinach and some chick peas instead of spuds. By the way, were they roosters? Again, never thought of leaving skin on for a curry. Given me loads to experiment with. Great to be back 🫶🫶
It doesn´t look like something for a food blogger LOL (fancy filmed and high quality pictures) BUT I am sure it tastes fantastic and THAT is important! 🤤😋😍

Dairy free or not, if it's a curry, and you've made it, I'd love it :)
Thank you paps very kind of u to say 🥰🤗
Going dairy free so you're not using coconut milk? Coconut milk is naturally lactose free and is a perfect dairy free option.
I know coconut milk is dairy free didn't want to use it so did my recipe this way thank you for watching and commenting I appreciate thinkcriticallynow
