Pronunciation is a physical act. Let's do warm-up exercises!

  • Pronunciation is a physical act. Warm up your vocal apparatus in a pronunciation workout! To speak, to pronounce, to modify your accent, you need to control your lips, teeth, tongue, throat and lungs. Use a mirror to see yourself. Stretch your face, lips, and tongue. Consider me your personal trainer!
Suggestion: Find time to do physical exercises 10 minutes every day to build and develop flexibility. No fees! No uniform! No equipment! Do it! Work out!

Thank you very much this is a wonderful and most effective way how to improve your Pronunciation. I'd been here in US for almost 10years now and with a 2 kids they born here they are good in english i talked to them practice with them but still my accent still in there and my fluency of my english pronounciation is around 60/100%. I tried your exercises it really works for me (No Joke). Id been watching so many English pronounciation Tutorial video here but this is the missing parts of their video. Once Again thank you very much for your wonderful video.

You should have been a Danish teacher. Vowels of Danish language are so close that they are almost impossible to pronounce properly for non native speakers. The glottal stop is one of the dominant features of Danish pronunciation. Your remarks on glottal stop has been very useful to me. Thanks

Pronunciation Doctor Interesting way from a suppposed scholar to debate by turning aginst others whenever they don't like what they are reading. This only fortifies my previous statement, A lack of curriculum from the exposer resulting in an over-exagerated way of trying to teach pronunciation.
