      Exactly! It’s all fun and games until the vet gets gored by a giant horn! Wouldn’t that stink? You go there to heal an abscess and you leave blind in the back of an ambulance.

      Someone should be holding it. They are all standing there. Jeez. Maybe if he came in from the other side of her head it would have been easier for him. They could have held her face like it is but he be in the cows right instead of the left. But idk he's the vet lol

      The only way to Heaven is to be born again by saying out loud "Jesus is Lord" and believing in ur heart that God rose Him from the dead then you must live for Him i suggest getting baptized, repenting(asking for forgiveness of your sins and making a radical turn from ur sin), fasting (doesnt have to be from food), evangelizing(spreading the Gospel), praying, and reading the Bible. God and Jesus love all of you hmu with any questions have a good day God bless✝️❤️❤️ good works dont get u to Heaven God's grace does John 3:16

      Large animal vets have a very dangerous job and are highly overlooked for their talent and patience. Anyone can work on a small dog or a cat and keep composure when it's under anesthesia on a table. But it takes true talent and patience to work with a 2 thousand pound animal and assure they are comfortable and not in copious amounts of pain as they are being cared for.

    I had an abscess this size years ago, 3 appointments with GP (long before it got that size) different antibiotic pills each visit, still telling me it wasn't an abscess. My partner took me to A&E at 11pm and I was in theatre within the hour, it was so bad, even after being packed, I was taken to theatre 3 days later for repeat surgery. Every so often I get them around the same area, if I get the antibiotic that works quickly it works, I've not required surgery since. The pain is absolutely excruciating. That Cow done amazingly well, as did the vet speaking quietly and making the treatment as quick as possible.

    Someone asked more than once about a local anesthetic. Didn’t he give her two injections at the beginning? An abscess is difficult to anesthetize as it is, and she was scared and in pain.

    My first thought when the pus came out was, CL. I’m surprised they didn’t take a sample for testing. If it was CL, they’re screwed because the pus wasn’t contained properly. Hope for the best I suppose.

    He remained extremely calm for a veterinarian. But whenever I used to help out on the farm when I was younger and a vet needed to drain an abscess on one of the cows, not only did we have them in the crush like this but the vet would have at least two of us holding the head whether it had horns on it or not to prevent injury to themselves or the animal. I showed this video to my uncle the other day who has been a farmer for more than 60 years and he said that vet is either very lucky or stupid for not having the horns properly restrained considering he almost lost an eye

    • @matthewwhitt9398
      @matthewwhitt9398 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably not so much pain as just nervous with people messing in an area she can’t see. I grew up on a cattle ranch and bovine have a different tolerance for pain. They get nervous though when people have to mess with them under the jaw because their eyes are set to see only through the sides.. while our peripheral vision is to the side their peripheral vision is to their front while they are almost totally blind to what’s under their jawline. That’s nature’s design so that they can put their heads down to see what they are eating from their peripheral vision while their mainline vision is to the side looking for predators.
      She probably has some pain but her reactions are more from the sensation of touch and fear than actual pain.

    • @matthewwhitt9398
      @matthewwhitt9398 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I should have wrote that their peripheral vision is their main line of sight. While the front is their obstructed vision.
