Great video, had a few in the past in weymouth harbour, relaxing and frustrating are the mullet,and a fantastic fight on light gear
Thanks, nice tip. I'm over the old harbour side, may have to walk around and give it a try. There was loads of mackerel off the Nothe sea wall earlier. Got a couple of nice ones I'm going to use for bait.

Thats mullet fishing for you Wayne the little shits are hard to catch a little tip for you paint your hooks with some white nail varnish or tippex disguises your hooks from the mullet tight line mate 🎣🐟👍

@TheShoreHunter I know they are dude. I've lost count how many times the 'mullet madness' has taken hold of me, and I've fished on despite knowing they're not feeding!

The most frustrating fish ever
We use an old onion sack full of groundbait and lower it down the wall .. the bleeders nine times out of ten attack the bag but not our baits
Feed one day, not the next. Keeps me going though 😃
What line rods reel hook float , didn't tell us😢

Looks like it’s the RFA base at Marchwood. Not accessible to the public unfortunately. Try maggy lane or mayflower park for mullet locally. So much water front in Southampton but so little of it is accessible to the public unfortunately.
