Thank you for this and all of the other sound samples. Is the microphone setup for this sound sample different than the others? This sound sample seems to have some extra reverb added leading to an extra longer sustain. Most of the other samples, especially for the new stainless steel drums, sound very much similar to sound quality my Nova Drums produce at home, both by hand strikes or mallets. Nova Drums have the best, or one of the best, sounds of any tongue drum in their price range. To get, by my ears, a more resonate sound from a tongue drum/pan one would have double the price of a Nova Drum.

I can't get that much resonance out of mine by hand. Only with mallets. What's the key?
