Don't let anyone ever tell you guys that you are not journalists. You're verifying sources, cross checking and providing great background not to mention epic stories from a truly fascinating time in history. Thank you Brett. Very much appreciated.
And keep in mind that mugshot would indicate Stack was in very serious trouble. EDNY - Eastern District NY. And USM - United States Marshals. At least I'm pretty sure.
I was Stack's neighbor and grew up with Ricky DiMaio, Scott Townsend, et all.... I heard the shots that killed him and the cops interviewed me.... My house was the white one, 109-12 120th, two doors down from the Marisi house, where Stacks lived in the second floor apartment. Stacks was a nice guy and always strolled the block and avenue. Kinda like a "Fat Albert" character..... Danny always had the boombox....we used to stay warm in the apartment building basement too, trespassing of course.... My mom thought the plane crash was an earthquake...... thanks for the memories....
Great video! I would love for you to have Steve back for a video on Martin Krugman. He was played by the late Chuck Low in Goodfellas, and was always one of if not my favorite character due to his outgoing and eccentric personality as well as him apparently being involved with the Lufthansa by apparently going to Henry Hill with the information on Lufthansa.
I gotta tell you that I’m blown away by how good your hard work that led to unknown fascinating facts. Hopefully, your channel really explodes with subscriptions/ income for you. Thank you.
Awesome video and information. This was very interesting. I grew up in Queens. I remember one of my neighbors was busted for the heist in Kennedy airport. My block was covered with News crews Cops and FBI. Just subscribed to the channel 👍
Tommy actually begged Jimmy not to make him do it. They were really close. He knew Stacks’ mother and vice versa. Tommy may have been there but Sepe probably did the shooting
Wow, footage of Stacks and he was Ali's bodyguard? Great find. Ali used to train at Gleason's Gym in New York for his fights at MSG, I'd bet Ali met Stacks through some trainers/boxers who were connected to Stacks (or connected to mobsters 🤔). Ali fought his first fight with Joe Frazier in NYC in 1971, could've been around that time.
Far more likely that they met through Angelo Dundees brother Chris whos affiliations with the mafia positioned him as a powerful guy in boxing. He's the one who put Angelo on. Look him up

Its allways baffled me from the first time I ever saw goodfellas, Why wouldn't he just get rid of the van properly. He must have known the calibre of people he was dealing with. And ontop of that the size of the heist. I would have stood and watched it burn into a pile of dust. But that's just me..😂. Too many other things to mention as allways.. Beauty episode.

Anthony ruggiano claimed in one of his videos he fought stacks outside a club in ozone Park one night. He also claimed they weren't very friendly either. He also may be able to verify that truly was stacks with ali. Imo it definitely is , looks exactly like his mugshot....
To me it’s 100 percent verified and there is more proof me and my first guest Steve have not shown. The articles, the video, Rick his neighbor confirming to me as well. If Anthony wants to comment on the video or talk about it then that would be a plus, but it’s case closed for me.
Somewhere I read that in the movie Casino that Robert Dinero didn't like the look or feel of the "FAKE prop money" so he personally went to the bank & took out NEW $10,000 in cash with back to back serial numbers to be used throughout the movie. I'm sure someone had to account for all that money serial number wise. Of course he got it all back in the end.
I hate the way these guys mouth off about Goodfellas not painting a true picture when its clear that the movie does paint a true picture. You only have to read the book and listen to the interviews from people who were there ti know that they did a spoton job. Both the Policeat that time and informents can testify to that.
Not sure Jimmy really liked henry 😂 he was around henry like every day, went to each other's houses reguler went on holidays together the lot, Henry's kids called him uncle Jimmy they say so in their book On The Run written by Greg and Gina Hill and they despise their dad for what he put them through, and what's so funny about samual Jackson playing stacks in the film? I didn't get that
A little theory I have about the phone call...... It could have been a friend of stacks unrelated to the heist that just walked into his apartment and found him dead but didn't want the cops sniffing around him or maby could have been a junkie so just wiped the door nob clean and made the call. But we'll never know I guess
I said it once an an ill say it again I love the intro ...it seems like a real intro to a crime documentary from 80s an 90s i actually thought you took it from some old documentary from that era...super dope job bro
Funny that you should wonder about the connection of stacks Edward's to Ali as I'm a boxing historian who's studied Ali for over 40yrs and seeing this blew my mind as it has all kinds of possible significance. People have always wandered why the mafia would've had Sonny Liston their controlled fighter take a dive against Ali to allow the nation of Islam control but what nobody really keyed in on was Angelo Dundees brother Chris had lots of connections to the mafia and was the unseen other hand to Angelo in Alis rise. There was in fact an investigation into all of this which I believe is why Liston ended up dead. He was in an uncomfortable position where he was gonna face jail if he didn't talk or be killed by the mob if he did. They eventually obviously killed him. But it's funny how I noticed this and watched it and so many flashes of memories came up. Ali clearly saying "Did I hit him" in the fight reel of Ali Liston 2 after the fight...Liston definitely dropped and the mob never lost anything because they obviously had another connection through Chris Dundee and Angelo. Very interesting stuff guys.
There's definitely information to be had regarding Chris Dundee and his mob ties and his helping Angelo in the beginning as is plenty of information regarding the Clay Liston investigations, theories, and lost footage to back everything I've said
Look into Chris Dundee mafia ties and check out some of the Sonny Liston documentaries about that fight. There's alot of information there that apparently was never followed up on but it all connects quite easily. The Liston fight wasn't the only suspicious fight Ali had either. As much as I love the guy his fight with Zora Foley is very strange as well. What's most interesting is that it puts mob figures around Ali and then you have Chris Dundee to put the light on in the dark room. 🤔
