And even back in the day when he didn’t have the experience advantage, he dominated the game with an iron fist. He has more EVO wins with just MVC2 than anyone else has total.
I'd love to get better at fighting games, so hopefully I can put these tips to good use. It is a bit hard though when I can't follow the conversation because I don't know all the jargon (I've never heard the term Tiger Knee before). Still I'm excited to scoop up this game on Black Friday and play for the first time since it hit arcades.
I love the look and feel of the marvel fighting games, but these busted ass combos and infinites and the wazzler simply existing made be refund the game before I bought it.
Yeah it def is. I commited to leverless mvc2 when mvc collection dropped and with some practice tk ahvb and stuff is totally doable. I would say tk ahvb is one of the harder things to do on leverless tho. I used to play mvc2 on stick for many many years but switched to leverless 1 yr ago for context.
I play MvC2 leverless and I have absolutely no issue. I respect Wazz's mastery of the game, but his opinion on the controller preference holds no weight. He's been playing all his life on stick, it's all he knows, of course he's going to think it's the way to go, but now flip that over to someone like me who has been playing leverless pretty much exclusively for the past 2-3 years and I don't even play like Tekken or even that much SF6, I play old school games, I play MvC2, MvC1, SFIII 3rd Strike, Garou, JoJo HFTF, CvS2, ect.. I'm not the greatest player in the world, but I've certainly got no problem with any inputs, no problem with movement, no problem with combos and no problem putting the hurt on people unprepared, because leverless is what I'm used to, what I'm comfortable with, what I'm good with. I don't need to use any special leverless input "hacks" either, I can do all of the movements properly using just my fingers. Not saying I'm anywhere near JWong's skill level, but the real answer to the question of what to play with is "what you are most comfortable with".
I generally agree wit u but as someone who has played both a good amount id say stick is prob easier for mvc2 unless u a real dedicated leverless player.
@@jepjep5635 Yes, why wouldn't it be? You just roll your fingers from middle -> pointer -> thumb + attack or middle -> ring -> thumb + attack. Anyone who has been playing FPS games on PC for a while would easily be able to adapt to leverless in fighters without too much trouble because you are training the same fingers for the same types of motions, just less intentional than you would in a fighting game.
Aint nobody can play like the wazzler man that 20+ years of exp
Yeah and if you try now he will have another 20 years on you. Dude will be 80 and still will dominate

Still a gem of a fighting game after all these years.
This is why I love MvC2! It's one of the most technical games ever! And people are still coming up with new strats and tech after 20 years!

i play pad but i dug out my joystick that i dont use and wow mashing and lots of other stuff in mvc2 feels way more intuitive now
I have not played MvC2 against another human being in more than 20 years, but as soon as I get my PS4 physical copy I'll go right back in.
Grandpa gaming
Commenting on every video requesting Makoto’s BBCF combo trials, video 143.
Use this as a dislike.

You sound defensive

@@jepjep5635if it works on anime fighters, it should work here too.
