I love that you talk about sanitation and cosmetics when you do this type of video. The amount of videos I've seen of people making cosmetics to sell without ppe and "sanitizing" with a bucket of water and a dash of alcohol. I don't know the requirements needed to sell products but as a former hairstylist/makeup artist I cringe when I see people not cleaning and disinfecting things.

I love your regular soap videos, but this is a nice change. I love when you do kits. I have ordered from TKB in the past and love them. I'd love to see you make some body cream or hand lotion sometime. I make my own Frankenstein version with vasoline, baby lotion, and vitamin E oil and cream. ❤

I had those back in the '80s! I loved them!
I'm in the UK, and I use the BarryM brand of lipstick. They go on green, yellow, or blue and they change to lovely, long-lasting pinkish colours. I have them everywhere. Would recommend as I'm not keen on glosses and oils, too sticky.

I love TKB! I make a presto chango gloss for myself from their products. It mostly goes cool pink. So I put lots of orange yellow or green pigments to warm up the color.
The blue one turning purple makes so much sense. It was almost lavender by the the time it shifted imho. This looks like fun!

I actually bought a lip oil from W7 the other week. They had different colors like purple, orange, blue, and green, and they're all pH color-changing and scented! It was fun seeing you make your own color changing lip oils with the TKB kit!
what a cool kit!! this looks like so much fun!! totally agree, this would be a great teenager party craft activity. i only wish it came with little micas so you can make them sparkly if you wanted. i think that blue to purple one would've looked so 90s/00s with some frosty shimmer

I had a clear mint lip balm that would draw blood to the surface and make my lips turn more rosy, naturally. I think it came form Bath and Body Works back in the day.

I think she did a Q and A a while ago where she answered the questions about lip/face products and because cosmetics have a much more strict regulation compared to soap, I think she said she’d give it a pass at that time. She might do something like that later, now that she’s no longer working in her home. Easier the sterilise I think. 🤷🏻♀️

I really like those new color changing pigments, they turn a very pretty warm pink shade that flatters way more people unlike oldschool bright ahh fuchsia ones.

There's something similar to this at my local dollar store. It's like a clear lipstick that turns a rosy pink on my lips.

I got the presto drops and added them to my favorite lip gloss. It's the most even staining I've ever experienced from a lip product (Usually stains color the inside of my lips and nothing else). If it came in red I'd probably never wear anything else. (It's such an awesome pink that I pretty much just wear the frankengloss I made nowadays anyway)

Just heads up, the pH change pigments just change color based on moisture, that’s it. There isn’t really a “variation” on different people, they always turn the same color, it’s just that they’re sheer so that’s how they look different on different people.
Personally, because cooler tones pop more with me, I tend to avoid warm colors. So I'd be a bit scared to try the pinky-peach color. I'd either pass or fail the paperbag test, for those who know. 😂

The au natural clear is definitely the best imo! I was worried about the blue but because it went more purple it looked really good on you. The shirt helped. A lavender shirt would be even cuter.

I feel it is a gimmick. It does not adjust to specific pH or skintone of a preson. The colirshift is the same on everyone, the effect might be different because it is sheer and it is applied on different skintones. And pH has nothing to do with our colours. This product doesnt know if I look better in cool or warm undertones. It is the same as selling semisheer light pink and saying that it matches to everyone. It is fun gimmick, but I don't like when brands market it as something more than it actually is.
And no matter which product you buy... it always gets to the same shade of pink, the intensity might vary.
I love the idea of doing the more drastic color change lippies!

Well colour change lipstick always ends up the same as we don’t have that different PH on skin ….
I'm the asshole here.....those dies aren't so much PH adjusting as they are water reactive. You don't get a unique custom color....mostly you get the same pretty baby pink... its a flattering color. But it's not adjusting to everyone uniquely. Even if it was adjusting by PH. There isn't that much variation in human skin PH. The water reactive thing is fun...look up makeup dye red 27.
