Absolutely. Some of my other modern favorites are “Some Sunsick Day” by Morgan Delt, “If I Could Find You (Eternity)” by The Holydrug Couple “The Golden Throne” by Temples “Wandering, I” by Sunbeam Sound Machine “Mr. Polydactyl Cat” by Levitation Room And “Kohroku” by Mac Demarco which is only on TH-cam and not technically released.
I visited London this year, and I was having some beers with a couple of coworkers in a pub. This song was playing in the background and fell in love with it immediately.
Let it take you to a summer scene When the wind comes down You’ll wonder where you've been See the world outside On a sunny day Fly above the clouds Where the wind blows you away Find yourself now, In the shade When there's nothing You will know that it's too late Find yourself now In everyone When your time comes You can fight what you’ve become Don't fight the feeling, just let it in You know you need it like the sunlight on your skin Try to let go, from the other side Open up your doors, but only do it right Find yourself now, In the shade When there's nothing You will know that it's too late Hide yourself now From everyone When the time comes You can find what you’ve become Find yourself now, In the shade When there's nothing You will know that it's too late Hide yourself now From everyone When the time comes You can find what you’ve become
+Judith Tankink Thank you! :) Could you please post the full lyrics? And do you have any idea where I could find the lyrics to the other songs on the album, I can't seem to find them anywhere...
Frodo Baggins Ⓥ Hi Frodo, I think those are the full lyrics. Did you click on 'Read more'? If you do that, the words take the Ring off and will, by some magical transformation, become visible.
Many thanks for this wonderment of modern psychedelic songs that you are creating jaco... some faith in young artists.. It takes me to a happy place..🙏
Hi, It's sounds so british from the 60'S and 70's, i enjoy... it prouves, nowadays, that a real musician can makes beautiful sounds and melody, it's very rare to listen a work like that.. Congratulations from Paris Jacco ! Chris (Technocean - ElectrAmbient music).
I love this. It has a touch of some Moody Blues vocal sounds, and a kind of 60s feel, which is great, but it sounds new and unique. I have a hard time finding new music I like by young artists, so I'm glad I found out about you. I've listened to your previous albums and I think there are some great songs on those also. Can you please put a link here for where we can buy Hypnophobia? I definitely want to get it. Cheers.
un tres beau titre , au départ je pensais que c'etait The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger (Sean Lennon ) avant d'entendre ce nom.... Jacco gardner ! un patronyme a retenir ! bravo j'aime aussi ce bel instru "hypnophobia " ah oouais merci Nova (again and again)
Why did it take me 6 years to get to know this brilliant song? I have just heard it on BBC Radio 6 today 23 May 2021. Congrats from Palermo, Sicily. Dank je wel Jacco Gardner!
@@kesaya3806 Well Kesaya, they didn't exactly promote this video. On Sunday 23 May 2021 I was listening to BBC Radio 6 Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone programme. Stuart Maconie played Find Yourself and described it as "a great song". He did not mention the video at all. This song got my attention - I loved it straight away. I then made an internet and TH-cam search. And I am glad to have discovered Jacco Gardner as he plays great music and atmospheres. He deserves a much wider international success. And here's the link to the radio programme: www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000wbrl Find Yourself plays at the time 1:31:50

One of the best modern psychedelic songs I ever heard.

I can’t stop listening to this song it’s so damn good
Introverted soundscapes from Jacco Gardner. Psychedelic music for loners.
RainyDayMerman
Great description. Tame Impala = for neo-psychedelic extroverts. Jacco Gardner = introverted neo-psychedelia.
Wellsaid
YES!!!!
Yep i'am loner.
I'm surrounded by what makes me both seek refuge with and distance from simultaneously....

Let it take you to a summer scene
When the wind comes down
You’ll wonder where you've been
See the world outside
On a sunny day
Fly above the clouds
Where the wind blows you away
Find yourself now,
In the shade
When there's nothing
You will know that it's too late
Find yourself now
In everyone
When your time comes
You can fight what you’ve become
Don't fight the feeling, just let it in
You know you need it like the sunlight on your skin
Try to let go, from the other side
Open up your doors, but only do it right
Find yourself now,
In the shade
When there's nothing
You will know that it's too late
Hide yourself now
From everyone
When the time comes
You can find what you’ve become
Find yourself now,
In the shade
When there's nothing
You will know that it's too late
Hide yourself now
From everyone
When the time comes
You can find what you’ve become
I post this because only lyrics with errors are found on the net.

Judith Tankink My shitty laptop didn't show them before, no need to be sarcastic :P Although I do like your reference.
Thank you Sister Judith.
I'm here because "You're the worst" ... but wow... This song is truly beautiful and I love the video too. Really impressed.
A hero of our generation. if you're not into him, check his early band, the Skywalkers. this guy's a bloody gem.

Beautiful video and song, perfect.
At 0:44, the guy looks like David Gilmour!
Heard it yesterday for the first time and it's already like one of my all time favourite songs. Deep music.
This song sounds a lot like the band AIR, which is a compliment.
JANXEN with an X I thought exactly the same
Mikhaïl Boulgakov cool stuff
dontcallmejon Yeah ... but also the guitar / melody line and singing. 60s style... but in a more modern way like Air. I like that a lot!
JANXEN with an X I thought I was the only one who thought this! It's nice to know I'm not the only one. They're both really great.
***** Yeah, it's a cool sound... i'm curious if AIR is working on new songs now, haven't found anything new from them yet till now ;-/
J'adore !!! Merci
love this
Damn why didn't I discover this earlier ... awesome song.
So 60's, that's very cool !
