The end of this mission almost made me drop this game. Then, I think I basically cheesed the level. This worked for me on Normal difficulty. What I did was grouping at the river to which you have to prevent Nazi from coming. I then set up a bunch of mines and tripwires there, and sit in the bush near the lorry/river. Then, as waves of enemy come, I simply used Fetisov to throw grenades on incoming enemy groups. If the grenade hits them, that's good - but the grenade misses, then the mines get them. Remine the exploded ones during the intervals in which they come. It was successful, but one drawback is I basically "wasted" all the mines that I didn't get to pick up back when the objectives have completed.

The game is partly inspired by a Soviet movie called 'Come and See' that's about the story of what went on behind the lines on the Eastern Front and partisan's actions. You can find it on TH-cam with English subtitles, be forewarned that its not an easy watch though.

How do you get to see the mines, nothing appears in the field for me

This mission has made me rethink playing this game any further. A mission with a need for a full team, and you only send 3, and not armed enough...wtf
