Wicked Walpurgisnacht was my first witchcraft retreat and I am so elevated by the entire experience! I have finally found real-life witchy friends and experienced ritual, magick and witchcraft with other witches and spiritual practitioners. We had a wonderfully magical time frolicking in flower fields, jumping over a Beltane bonfire, doing a new moon ritual for manifestation, dabbling in green witchcraft, cleansing and forest bathing, and much, much more.

This was hands down one of the most fun things I've ever done. I loved meeting everyone, I learned SO much from each of them, and I'm always happy to film everything, its what I love to do! I can't wait to get this vlog up. Such fantastic memories.

The Midsummer retreat sounds amazing Bex! I suggest Sweden as a great place to host it, Midsommar is celebrated religiously here and there are so many witchy/pagan sites to visit around the country which would be perfect! Not forgetting to mention how beautiful it is around that time of the year when the nights never really get dark! 😍😍
Soooo true! I have celebrated it there before with Swedish friends and it was absolutely magical and lovely ✨ I have to see which country would make the most sense in terms of organisation, tax laws, prices, rental location and so on (the Baltic's are a bit easier when it comes to all of that) but I shall see what I can make happen hihi ❤️

I love this so much and find myself so drawn to a similar philosophy of "practical magic", or understanding the science and psychology entwined in the practice. I would like to bring the Redwood Forests of Humboldt County in Northern California to your attention for potential retreat locations. The old growth forests can be as old as 2,000 years. The first time I came here their ancient wisdom washed over me in the most profound way and I would love to experience a family friendly retreat here. Thanks for doing you out loud for us ❤

My new partner is just starting on his Pagan path. He's known about my paganism since we met, and had a vague interest (he just started tarot!) and I would love for us to have something like this in our area. We have so much rich, Indigenous history and magic here (western Canada). He has decided to work with Odin and celebrated his first Beltane with me, although I'd definitely say he's got some kitchen witch in him lol. Beautiful video as always!

I was at an urban retreat - an improv a capella gathering wirh lovely people on that weekend, the overall theme being musical alchemy. It feelt so good to check in with a tribe at this challenging time, even if it was just for a weekend.
That sounds super intriguing! I love that theme - and yes, meeting up with like-minded people is so refreshing and inspiring ✨

The scenes of your goodbyes…I absolutely loved that part. The friendships built so quickly and cemented so permanently that after 5 days it’s hard to part…I find that so beautiful!
It was incredible how deep and quick the connections developed - people just showed their vulnerable sides and were so brave sharing about their traumas, wishes, desires and struggles ❤️ absolutely beautiful and enriching

It's Awesome that you got to have such a good time over Beltane.
I went to my "First" drum circle. I have been to similar circles before but they were all Tribal. This one was open to anyone. We were beating drums on the River banks until 1am that night. Was fun.
Earlier that day I collected 10 yard/lawn trash bags full of rubbish to dumpster. Trying to clean up this river is a never ending war.
Looks like it was a beautiful gathering! Birch whipping! Yes!
It was hahah and the birch whipping definitely left impressions 🤣

It's nice for solitary practitioners to have an event during the year where they can meet other practitioners. Sharing knowledge and a community feeling is good for the craft.
I practiced almost two decades and this was the first time meeting up with other practitioners and it was absolutely amazing!! I learned so much and feel so inspired 😄✨

They were the best group of people! But I think that is just the magick happening when you have a bunch of like-minded individuals that are all willing to open up to each other ❤️ the baby mainly made it really hard to walk stairs hahaha but I hope it got some second-hand serotonin too!

It definitely was amazing! But that is correct - In that particular location it would be very tricky to get around for someone that is for example limited in their movement as there are like a million stairs everywhere ☹️

This looked like such a wonderful retreat, every shot had people just glowing with magic and joy. The location looked beautiful too. My trips to Germany tend to centre around the north, but now I'm feeling the need to explore Bavaria!

If you're looking for forest-y, beachy areas, the northern and central areas of Italy's Adriatic coast is beautiful, especially around Midsummer. Much quieter and less touristy than the west coast.

This looks extremely fun, wish I could have been there. I don't have a lot of witches in my area. There might be a family of witches diagonal to our house but I'm not quite sure, the daughter I went to school with seemed a bit dodgy with answers but that was about 6 - 7 years ago. I'm definitely a shy quite anxious one, so it would possibly take a bit to get me out of my shell. Great video.
It absolutely was!! Maybe in the future you might get the chance to join - and with such a supportive and kind group it is very easy to get out of a shy shell ☺️❤️ as one of the ladies at the retreat said 'if you are being your most authentic self and open, you will be surprised about how you suddenly find the right kind of people' - maybe your hunch about your neighbors is right hihi you could always try and gift them a cake for one of the holidays on the wheel of year or something 😄✨
