heyyo! *in the beginning i talk about the poster styling 3:01 for the MV) visuals in this mv were definitely beautiful, i loved the styling for the most part and the "that that that that" part in the hook was actually pretty dang catchy - i enjoy that part, but in the overall view of this song, i think it's a bit of a let down of my expectations. i enjoyed the raps, bridges, and everything separately but not together lol. after looking at the lyrics again i can actually see the direction. i'd love for you guys to comment your opinions down below in the comments!

i miss the whistle/stay era...i wasn't a big fan of ktl and i feel like teddy's being repetitive and trying to go with what he thinks will hit #1 like DDDD instead of a coherent song...i really wish they would fill up empty spots of the song with actual lyrics rather than beats all the time and lisa's rap lyrics were really saved by her delivery and charisma

I honestly thought it was okay. It wasn’t bad, but it was just a bit.... lackluster for lack of better words. Especially the chorus. Maybe after a few listens, it’ll be better, but for now, it was kind of underwhelming to me and that’s pretty disappointing, especially considering the fact that it’s basically been a whole year since their last comeback. However, the looks and styling for this comeback was gorgeous.

Honestly people should remember that this is not the title song. After lisa's rap part I felt like the transition from rap to singing seemed a bit hurried and it was hard for me to find a middle ground between the singing parts and the rap, half sing rap parts where it's full of attitude, but after the 2nd listen it all came together and I love the song 🥴❤ they went all out with the mv but made sure to leave space for the coming title track to shine

It’s in YG style to make their songs chaotic. It keeps people talking about it. And they live off of the fact that fans are desperate for content. I mean the song’s a bop, but the producers aren’t letting them do anything other than the typical structure which bothers me. There's just so many random noises in this comeback, "dah dah dah dah", "ba da bing ba da booong booong", "dddoodooduoo" Idk, that space could have been filled with more verses or chorus buildup. I like certain parts of the song but I'd say this is Blackpinks weakest comeback in my opinion. Which is disappointing because this is their most anticipated comeback I'd say. The song just feels empty at some parts or like they were trying too many concepts as well as trying to be safe if that makes sense. No hate pls.

Maybe unpopular opinion but I'm kinda torn because this is just a pre-release and not the actual title but also its the first song after a year. Thats a long time for producers to come up with something but except from Lisas rap this songs has no real elevation point and is kinda boring for me. Hope they have more diversity in the actual album. I want them to do well because of their talent and not because YG abuses the power of starving the fans and badass concepts...

BUT THEN MY FIRST IMPRESSION ON THE MEANING CHANGED, because I felt the depth of the song.
But I did not get it until I have discovered the translation. Yes, it cuts deep especially if you have experienced what they´ re trying to relay...it´s continuation of KTL, BUT WAIT.
The message is short but direct and ON POINT:
It just hit you through and adresses more of self love upon realization that you have been in an unhealthy relationship. The BRING OUT YOUR BOSS B**CH is about picking yourself from the downfall and being a braver and better version of yourself. Even the statement near the ending..."look up in the sky it´s a bird, it´s a plane" its about soaring and believing you can rise up again after the downfall
just have to pick the pieces of your problems and heartache or misery and believe in yourself. Karma works its true.
There are alot of good lines too be honest and its not just a nonsense song as claimed by the most. If you really read it has darker and deeper meaning than KTL and PWF it also shows maturity

At first i didnt understand the song but their lyrics hit hard however after i found the depths and the true meaning i too realised it was a carry on of KTL and it hit me so hard i thank blackpink for putting their effort and thoughts into this it made me realise so much things. Although BLACKPINK are always smiling they too are humans they go through so much hardship and too have alot of people like you and many that hate you it makes it harder too move on in life

Trust me, when it comes to Kpop, you really REALLY have to listen more than once bcz there are many genres or ideas sometimes that sounds messy for your ears, I remember the first time that I listened to "Tempo" from Exo and it was okey but I didn't get the vibe of the song, but a few months later I listen the song again and I was like "This is a masterpiece"

Personally I love how the girls really delivered this song. They looked like they were having fun and the emotions came out pretty well. However I just want I little bit more lyrics that's all.

If you give this song a few more listens then it starts to grow on you. It was like "Kill This Love" for me, I didn't like it at first but after listening more, I love it. If you still don't like it, that's cool. Honestly, as long as you give your honest opinion that's all that matters.

I was let down too. But then, I listened to it 3 more times and now I feel like a boss bitch listening to it and actually liked the song.
The bridge is not awkward imo cuz it is the same tune as the prechorus.
However, I must be reminded that this may not be the title track of the album (yet) so we still have many songs to see their range

It's a pre-release so yeah it makes sense how the song is like that for me Lisa and Jisoo saved the song but when you listen to it for 50 time or some you'll start to really like it
