- PCL is an important ligament. It can be treated with arthroscopic surgery by Dr Navren Sharma. It requires very small surgery. It is treated with Bioscrew and endobutton method. Patient is advised physiotherapy after 2 days of surgery. Knee brace is used for 6 weeks. patient can get recovery in 2 to 3 months. Functions of PCL is to provide stability of knee. Without surgery treatment of PCL is not possible.

I have PCL Avulsion fracture with 5mm,retraction, its been 6 weeks now for the injury, i m not sure whether its heales or not, from last few days as i have increase my activity, i m feeling very mild swelling in my affected leg and some time i feel mild pain as well, currently can not go upstairs normally as if i try to put weight it hearts, please advise, there is little sag in the knee, while walking i dont feel any pain, but i havent walk a lot yet few steps only i m walking currently, i have visited to one doctor he said so far result seems good, but after starting quadriceps exercise i feel little pain in my calf section.

I injured multiple ligaments 6 months back.
I had both ACL and PCL surgery at AIIMS two months back. Not sure what physiotherapy exercises to do.
I feel more difficulty in climbing down the stairs in comparison to climbing up
And at times feel losing control of the back side of the knee when I try to walk fast.
I also have MCL injury and a meniscus tear on MCL side.
Any suggestions on medicine and exercises for quick ligament and meniscus repair?
