Cool video. A couple of potential cautions...you've put grease in between the diff rings and the diff hubs. Those parts are supposed to be glued together. You may get slippage there. Also, the way you've turned the eccentric rings, you're actually loosening the belt.

Thanks for the tips. The Kit-set Cougar Classic manual. Yes, you apply glue. But at U7600 Pro Transmission manual there wasn't any instruction to apply any glue for ball-diff washers to U7243... And for the eccentrics, the advice given to me by Schumacher was to follow the positioning from the instruction manual diagram given. Of course you may re-adjust the eccentrics again to your liking later. : )

That’s quite a lot of grease! How have you found the new pro transmission? Apparently you can run it less tight than the standard without it slipping. I am about to build mine.

Haha yup my fault. Too much grease there actually. I have not finish assemble. Waiting for some cables to arrive. Thanks for the tip carmac.

@@divisionbreak any tips on belt tension?

Carmac I followed the examples in the Pro Transmission instruction manual: 3:00 o'clock dial position. Infact if you turn to (Page 15) of the Cougar Classic manual: BAG C - Step 30 the bottom last diagram. The eccentrics also showed the belt tension adjusted to a 3:00 o'clock dial position. Dave at schumacher rc gave me the advice to follow the diagram from the manual...later when you fix up you car & run it, you can re-adjust the tension to your liking. Just remember do no over tighten, belt might snap.
