Coming from a UGA fan, I believe that Stallions may have been doing something fishy... But, I also ABSOLUTELY believe Harbaugh and his close circle had no idea what Stallions was doing. Great post and I agree! I'm a long time Michigan fan but have always liked UGA all the way back to when Vince Dooley was Coach and Herschel Walker was a star. You have a classy program and one of my favorite QBs of all time, Fran Tarkenton was a UGA star too! Kind regards.

The Big 10's new teams are stronger overall just from quantity, but top to bottom the SEC is still the stronger conference imo.
@noahlejeune3154 I think Oregon and USC are also better quality than Texas and Oklahoma. The SEC is top heavy, the rest of the teams get a boost just for being in the same conference. At the top, the SEC probably has a slight edge, but top to bottom, the B10 is probably better. Even if the SEC is slightly better overall, it is no longer the dominant conference. CFB will be the 2 heavyweights slugging it out for the foreseeable future.
For Colorado, beat Utah and Oklahoma State, and then we will see if their are legit.

Most LSU fans are in a wait and see. They don’t have a play off belief until they can see if they win game 1 against the Trojans. If that happens it is game on. The defense will get better over the year and Nuss will get more comfortable shredding the opponents if needed because I think that LSU will play bully ball. Mason Taylor will become a high second rounder.
Going 10-2 in the ACC or Big 12 will be no guarantee of a spot in the CFP. Conferences are not even close to being equal anymore

Georgia if healthy are the national champions, Ohio State is the closest at second, and I hate Notre Dame but they have a QB this year, hate to admit it, but they got a good one... with all of that being said, my Canes have not proven they can win the off season AND the actual games, so I will stay quiet, and pray that Mario learned how to gameday coach. It was hard to say what I just said, because he is a Cane, and I love all past, present and future canes!

The 3 - 4 most important hours of the week...Moore had to run the offense while also managing all coaching decisions and checking in consistently on Jesse Mintor and all the other assistant coaches. Not to mention all the players and whether to go for it or not on 4th down and so on and so forth

UM cheated for 2.5 seasons including the first 4 games in 2023. Once these games are vacated, they wouldn't qualify for the CFP. Additionally, USC had their 2004 championship vacated enen though they were clearly the best team. This will not end well for UM.

Every team from the top to the bottom usually starts the season with high expectations, or wishful thinking. They are willing to let the reality of the season be the benchmark year to year. However, sometimes even that is not enough...see Florida State, because I can guarantee as they played the last regular season game there was no thought on not making the playoffs.

2 loss non Champs really need to beat a playoff team. P4 needs to schedule the G5 wannabes - 3 P4 wins, and v 500+ teams, seems a minimum for making the playoff even as G5 - play up big OOC if you want a playoff berth. Even 13-0 v G5 Doable by 20 P4 teams. Not many teams getting 10 wins with FL AU GA MI schedule. B1G/SEC 2 I think -7 v ACC XII champ. 3B1G/SEC -10 v ACCXII 2 I’d say.

2. Unpredictable Young Athletes:
Most college football players are between 18 and 22. These are kids, not seasoned professionals. Their performances are all over the place. One week, they’re unstoppable; the next, they crumble under pressure. Betting on consistent performance from these young men is a fool’s errand.
3. Injuries Wreck Seasons:
Injuries are a brutal reality. Unlike the pros, college teams often don't have the depth to replace their star players. One key injury can derail an entire season. Prognosticators can't foresee these injuries, making their predictions shaky at best.
4. Strength of Schedule:
A team’s schedule can look tough or easy on paper, but things change fast. Teams that seem like pushovers can suddenly become powerhouses and vice versa. Trying to predict outcomes based on preseason schedules is guesswork.
5. Coaching Changes and Strategies:

@nickma71 the counterpoint is obvious it shouldn't even have to be stated, if you've ever played or coached football you'd know there's roughly 150 play in a playbook for college, a lot of them are not implemented until later in the season, mainly because you prepare for each opponent individually incorporating new gameplans and packages all resulting in.. you guessed it, new signs. Sign stealing isn't nearly as gamebreaking as you think, this isn't baseball where you would know exactly where to swing. I was quick to condemn this team when it first came out but once you educate yourself on what they truly did you realize idiots are trying to charge them with murder when they were basically j walking.
