Man how beautiful are those small swiss villages. What a stunning place especially that second location, seeing those cliffs and waterfalls in almost every background shot. Why would you go there when you can see all that for the fraction of a cost in Bosnia? Waterfalls (Kravica), pristine rivers (Neretva), mountains, hiking. One of the last surviving primeval forests in Europe (Perućica).

Usually the stores around touristy areas are overpriced and "fancy". You can get good pralines and bars in the supermarket or in bakeries for less.

I’ve just remembered something that I’ve not thought about for years. My older sister and I went to live in a bungalow/ chalet in Gloucestershire (UK) when we were in our early 20’s, both for different reasons. It belonged to my Dad. The bungalow was called “Interlaken”. The word means ‘between the lakes’. The bungalow had a lake at the bottom of the garden, and another to the side. Wow. I can’t believe I’ve just remembered that.

Usually the stores around touristy areas are overpriced and "fancy". You can get good pralines and bars in the supermarket or in bakeries for less.

I’ve just remembered something that I’ve not thought about for years. My older sister and I went to live in a bungalow/ chalet in Gloucestershire (UK) when we were in our early 20’s, both for different reasons. It belonged to my Dad. The bungalow was called “Interlaken”. The word means ‘between the lakes’. The bungalow had a lake at the bottom of the garden, and another to the side. Wow. I can’t believe I’ve just remembered that.
