TOP 5 AL PASTOR TACOS STOPS IN PUERTO VALLARTA (& BONUS TACO) | Viewers’ Choice Mexican Food

- Tacos are our most favorite food - our “if you were stranded on a desert island” food. In order to find the BEST, most delicious Al Pastor tacos in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, we polled the local community and received over 320 Facebook recommendations. In this video, we visit the Top 5 Al Pastor Taco spots and give you our recommendation on each, plus a BONUS seafood taco for our non-meat eaters.
As mentioned in the video, we created a Google map which includes the top 6 tacos spots in our video PLUS 14 additional restaurants our Facebook poll of over 320 recommendations derived.

We totally agree…that line is ridiculous…but WOW are those tacos good! We def. will go back…but we’ll shoot for right before they open next time.
We LOVE that taco shop. You look like such a fun couple exploring Vallarta. The next time you come, look us up. Sonoritas olas altas was my favorite, but to be fair, I haven't tried too many places for Al pastor tacos.
That place was probably our first favorite…but to be fair, they were only the 2nd place we tried. Good flavors there…but we went back a second time, and they’re definitely inconsistent. That being said, there’s no way we’d turn it down.
And you missed the best of the best. El Fogoncito in Bucerias. Just a little north of PV. The tacos al pastor are so good, when the food comes to the table, all conversation stops. It's that good. Bucerias is a hidden food gem.
Awww man! We wish we would have known! We certainly would have gone. Although this was more focused on the immediate PV area (since all of the places we went to were mostly within walking distance), but it was also based on Facebook polls in the PV groups. So it really must be a hidden gem for no one to have brought it to our attention. Damn! Well, another reason to come back!

I dunno, I have no idea what all the broo ha ha around Pepe's, I personally like El Carboncito's best of any other.
Solid choice - they were our top 5. I think the hype with Pepe's is the amount of meat you get compared to, say, El Carboncito. But taste is subjective!! Appreciate the comment and so sorry for the slooooowwww response. We are just getting back and running on this channel.

Okay NO, cheese does NOT belong on a pastor taco!! 🤨😜 The song playing in the background you must have memorized by now with all the time you've spent in Mexico :) Experienced hot weather people with putting the napkin in the Coke bottle! Jillian your yummy face is priceless. So are volcánes native to PV? I've never seen cheese served with pastor. I don't like pastor that's been cut then put on a grill to keep it hot, it dries out. Heyyyy, I've been to Tuna Azul too! Look at the subs guys, almost 1000! - Anne
Hi Anne!! The cheese was a first for us, and apparently the "volcanes" (w/ cheese) are a local fav here. Tuna Azul had a great vibe and tasty "poke" style dish called montadito. And CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!? Almost at 1K!! So excited and grateful ;-)

@@jillianandjeremy for some reason the video showed you in very slow stilled motions sometimes when you were eating and showing the spice levels. Maybe it was an editing thing, but other than that my wife and I just enjoyed the content. We heard Panchos was good and they have long lines.
