Referee is totally responsible for why that happened. In the first round they both were way out of the corner before the bell rang. The second round the bell rang and he was standing there staring at Duva with his arms crossed. What a horrible referee. Then he let the fucking guy sit on the ropes and get hit unnecessarily.

The Duvas harmed Brelands career by letting him box Volbrecht in SA. He was banned by the WBC and would have beaten Honeyghan in 87 and become World Champion and would have reigned for 3 or 4 years. He would have been up there with Leonard and Hearns as Welterweights.
