Been looking forward to this one. Wrestle War doesn't belong. They should have swapped it out for another 3-button action title that used the same aspect ratio of the other action titles on the cab. Alien Storm would have been welcome in its place. Still, looks good
Cab looks cool....if they had made this a 2player cab instead of 4player i would of bought it.

Oh man I was grinching watching you move that cabinet on the floor at 6:08 no wonder the side panel is scratched, just put a cardboard or towel on floor to protect panels.
I used to have carpet in that room up until a few weeks before this. So not used to this new vinyl floor yet and how it is.
Damn imagine they released SF2 in this quality, settings, etc.
Instead of Wrestle War they should have included Golden Axe the Duel
I’m glad it’s not another golden axe. Personally I like the variety. But Alien Syndrome would have been cool

If they come out with a two player cabinet they got me. I can't do anymore four player cabinets. Space is too much of a luxury for me to do four player cabinets. Not to mention I don't have more than two people willing to play at a time. Especially in the Covid world we live in now.
do you have to use the player one joystick or can you pick anyone of the four to play? great review too!!
abbotsford comic fan to play death adder you pick the joystick for the character. Original golden axe you use player 2 and 3 joysticks for player 1 and 2 respectively. Shinobi originally only had 1 joystick and you alternate players on the player 2 joystick I think the others are that way too. Basically except for death adder joysticks 2 and 3 act as 1 and 2.
Compared to your Ninja Turtle machine, is the joystick pad have the same ribbon cable connection exactly?
It has the same type of ribbon cable but can’t confirm that it’s identical connection. I don’t know the pin out of the decks
I just built this cab and it seems to have input delay. Does it feel that way to you as well? I may just be more used to playing fighting games, but it just seems to have a pretty decent delay
Seems fine to me. But I’m not a pro gamer or anything so I probably wouldn’t notice a few milliseconds or anything
Thats fucked. I cant understand why its impossible to play these old games without input delay. There has to be a fix
I've heard these can be hacked easily to put other games on through name
People will replace the circuit board inside with a raspberry pi or Pandora’s box to do that. There is a pretty big modding community
ETA prime on TH-cam is your best bet

They usually don’t have specific release dates I’ve seen. Just show up whenever they ship them.

Did you order this from the Arcade 1up website or retailer?
Yes I preordered from their website when they first did it and got it when they finally shipped. It has gone on sale at GameStop and other locations since then but was originally arcade1up website only and I got it there

Golden axe came with it. But the others are Arcade Game Factory

You placed it in front of your window? Seems like you are buying stuff you dont really have the proper space for.
I’m single and have a 3 bedroom house. Plenty of unused space and no one to tell me not to make my front room into an arcade room
Enjoyed the video. For your next build, you may want to do your back, and knees a big favor, and break out the folding table, and a big towel, or quilt to rest the cabinet on, during the build. I built my first two cabinets on the floor, and regret it ever since. I'm not really into the 4 player cabs, but this particular one is one I've had my eye on, for a while. But it's a tough decision between one of the upcoming pinball tables, and Golden Ax.
