- Today I will show you how to make this VERY simple hexagon table topper for the holidays. The whole top is made from only seven pieces of fabric, so it sews together fast. I hope you give this a try and thanks for watching! Merry Christmas!!!
Template - files.acrobat....
I watched this, then cut out my pieces, layer them out on the table to see hoe they would look, but I layer them out going to the left, of course that wasn't going to work, and I couldn't figure out why, so I watched how to so them together, and it was like DUH! Go to the right. Thank you for sharing your time and, your talent with all of us.
These were the best instructions that I have ever seen....Boy can this guy teach sewing !! ........Sandra
Thanx😋
I have watched several binding videos and this is the first time where I absolutely understood how to put it on a hexagon. Thank you so much!
I have the half hexi template from MSQC. This will be perfect for teaching my 12 year old granddaughter. Great video!

Você é show 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Nice tutorial. Thank you
Very nice, I will try it this week

Thanks for the sub!!
Thanks for sharing...so simple...thank You!
Thank You for watching!!
You could make this project with a serger if you increased the hex pattern size and serged (with a 3-thread overlock) using wrong sides together. Quilt the top and bottom with batting and either bind the sides or serge them with a short stitch length. Very nice project however you make it.
Great tip! Thanks
Thank you. Great directions.
Wonderful teacher
Very nice and attractive for home or a gift, Happy Holidays !!!
Thanks
Good job well done. Keep the vids coming, I enjoy the projects in a day. THANKS... Barb

I would like to make a smaller version of this, what do i cut the half hexies at?
Thank you for the video. What size is your hexagon this was not mentioned?
Love it!
Thanks!!
I really like this. I am preparing for a craft fair and I would love to have fall ones like this. I am a little afraid of binding but ...I think I might manage. Thanks. Good Job
I NEED THAT PATTERN FOR A 13" HEX BLOCK [MEASURED TO THE FLAT SIDES]
AN I AM NOT SURE HOW TO DO CHANGE THE SIZE???? CAN YOU HELP ME???
Could you do some projects bags with vinyl
Obrigado
If I wanted to make it smaller how do I figure what size the outside pieces should be cut?
Gail Lewis You just take a hexagon that is half the size of the table topper you want (plus seams). And for the outer parts, you just cut the hexagon in half.
Oh yes I see it now thank you ☺️
❤❤❤❤
What fun
Very good instructions. What batting are you using?
I usually use a cotton batting because it lays flatter but sometimes I use a cotton poly blend.
@@ScrappyPatch Thank you for sharing that information. It is very confusing to know what to use with so many options.
Pratico
Thus looks great! However. Where do I find the Measurements?
What were the finished dimensions of this project? Thanks
From point to point it was a about 23 inches. Thanks for watching
Wish you would have shown putting the back on
I believe the back is under the other layers.
Under the batting

So what size hexagon? What size are the half hexagons? Not enough info to make this. Disappointing.
I show you how to make them
In the video
Why do you have to give your name, birth date and phone number to join you on facebook? All I want to know is what size is your hexagon template. Not fond of giving away personal info.
Why not just give the dimensions of the hexagon? This is about the least helpful video I've ever seen.
This comment is the least helpful comment I have seen and VERY disappointing
