Hi Tessie!! I am so happy for you & hubby!! The joy that was on your face as you spoke about your new plumbing was priceless!! We had our house replumbed some years ago & our house was built in 1920 & some parts added on in the 1970s. It was definitely an experience!! But when it's finished- oh happy days!! The new faucets & flooring are very nice!! Y'all take care!! ❤😊

Wow. That's a lot of work but in this heat he certainly earned his paycheck. I love the linoleum in the bathroom. I wanted to put linoleum in my master bath but nobody carries it here now. I am so happy yall were able to get all of this done because it will make things so much easier.

Wow Tessie, so happy for you and your husband. It's always wonderful to get things fixed and up to date. We are still working on our 1910 farmhouse and the bathroom is the last big remodel for us. We'd like to add an enclosed front porch but not sure it will happen. The flooring is gorgeous and what a blessing to find a plumber/ handyman contractor to help you get this work finally finished. Looking forward to more updates!

I so know how you feel having new plumbing. I had to do that when l had my trailer, including news joyces and flooring.
Glad to see you get your plumbing fixed. Having lived in an old house with terrible plumbing I can relate to the problems you had to endure. I didn't own the home with plumbing problems and furnace problems-I just rented it in the 70's really cheap. It was hard but the house was affordable at the time and we had a roof over our heads.

Oh Tessie, that's so wonderful. The new flooring you picked out is very pretty, but the most important part is now you will have running water at every fixture that will drain properly away from the house. Its a great feeling, isnt it Tessie? You remind me of myself. I get excited when we install a new plug in the wall. Only those who have spent decades doing without can understand the complete joy that comes ¹knowing you dont have to worry about these things anymore. Im truly so happy for you. I was 23 when I bought my house. Within 3 months I got a leak. All my cold water lines were garbage. I spent almost 4 days under the house, like your house, switching them all out. Terrible!

Oh so happy for you guys! This is such a celebration. When all is said and done perhaps you two could go out somewhere or grill something special at home to celebrate a closing of a chapter in your lifetime and starting a new chapter. Debt free and everything, way to go guys! Tessie I think about all your past years of carrying buckets of water, and the word I think of is perseverance. Our ancestors had to do this a lot. My wish for you and Ken is to be able to sit back relax more and truly enjoy your fruits of all the years of perseverance, hard work and determination. It certainly all came to fruition for two very hard working humble people.
Tessie, am a newer subscriber. I’m so happy to see a rags to riches story for your home. As a senior who is still paying a mortgage, I understand. We have only been in our home 8 years. Have already put in new electrical, partial plumbing, new furnace and air, new roofing and new external doors. We soon have to change our bathroom due to safety. This is fantastic! For years watching you I would always wonder- why aren't they fixing their hot water (especially with income from youtube and living so frugally) but now it makes sense! It wasn't as simple as a hot water heater- you needed your entire house replumbed!!! So happy for you!
