- Peritoneum anatomy explained in schematic 3D.
In which I answer questions like: What is the peritoneum? What is a peritoneal cavity? What is a mesentery? How does the greater and lesser omentum fit in?
It's all pretty confusing, and one of the more difficult parts of anatomy study. I really hope you find this video useful in your journey of understanding the human body.
(In answer to your first question, it is a single continuous sheet of serous membrane, stretching around the abdomen and its contents.)

Hi great version! Do you have one / can you adapt it so that the lesser omentum is shown hanging more vertically from the 'roof' so to speak, and then place the indented pancreas lower down, near to the mesocolon for the transverse? That would really help my students, thanks!
Ur very great🙏🙏
Thank you..

If you create and sell a high quality hoodie with your logo I promise to buy one (even if expensive, quality has its price)! Would be a cool way to support your work, wouldn't it?
Mate, that's an awesome idea. Thanks for the suggestion
Hey there, took your advice and would love your thoughts on these:

The greater omentum connects to the colon transversum ( hence the name of taenia omentalis coli), not to the posterior wall.
It really great. I'd like to shake your hand, but I can't do it. Are you going to realize video about neuroscience?
Haha, thanks mate. Yes I would like to. What neuroscience topics should I cover, do you think?
may be about function spinal cord, different between upper and lower motor neuron. What include sensor and motor system (spinothalamic tract, Dorsal column pathway etc), lesion other part. @@aboutmedicine
@@user-ze2xb1fb2z Great, thanks for the thoughts. I'll get to them one day soon.
Again , you are a legend Reuben ❤️
I have tried to send you a message by email, but it says that your email is not receiving messages?
Do you have another email ? Or another messaging app ?
Thank you 🌹
G'day mate,
Thanks for the kind message. I've updated my email address on my channel page, otherwise you can contact me by posting here: th-cam.com/users/aboutmedicinecommunity
I really don't get why people think this is hard, you can easily figure it out from a 2D picture. The difficult part is all the OTHER parts of the peritoneum. What's the point of a 3D representation of a single side of the body.
Good luck making a complete model, that would be actually hard and useful
When the greater omentum folds up, he takes the colon with him no ? And make the mesocolon
Скоро экзамен :(
Plz make new videos 😢
I still don't understand😠😠😠😠😡😤
That’s the best video I have seen related to this topic🫨
Where is the hell are u ?! 😭 We waiting u our dear prof 🫀💐❤️
Not a very good model you can do better 🥲. The cut probably looks like that from the side but the whole structure is a bit different and this may mislead a lot of people. But good work
Thanks
