*For those taking issue with my decision to censor excessively crude pornographic graffiti in this house (it's not just penises), I have families who watch my videos with their children and grandchildren so I have to keep these viewers in mind (as well as adult viewers who find this offensive) as my channel is rated PG.* Please see history below:
Exploring a gorgeous abandoned manor that has since been demolished. I was happy to get in and document this beforehand. It was built in the 1880s but the original owners of the land trace roots back to 1818 when the Irish settlers came to the area. The previous owners were a prominent family who purchased this pioneer home in 1956 and sold it to developers in 2009 who have let it sit and deteriorate since as they just wanted to raze the building. This manor did not have a Heritage Designation to protect it from such as it is considered condemned and in disrepair. In my opinion, I do not see this to be the case but I'm not an expert. The previous owners along with the neighbours put out a petition to at least try and save the historic trees but sadly, the trees are also not protected.

So sad-- this home should have been on the national registry of historic homes. Vandals suck big time. Thanks for documenting this old beauty before all trace of it was gone.
I can never understand the mentality of a vandal. SMH. Lovely old home ought to have been preserved. At least, no "development" ought to exist there. We humans destroy and waste so much. Anyway, thanks for showing us this once lovely home.

Just gorgeous though - so sad that it's gone - that room with all the shelves in it - a lovely library with a fireplace! - but as you said, the grounds - just breathtaking and so expansive - you're right - it will all be cardboard cutout copy subdivision houses after this or some boxstores. what a sad end to a beautiful historic house and all the trees and loveliness it once had.

P.S. It appears the last owner was too old to live alone, for whatever reason. Be aware, this happens to too many people who have not left a legal will. Someone did a great job of cleaning out the meaningful items of the last owner. BEAWARE! If you own any property, get a will! Even if your in your in your early 20's. Get your will. Forgive my typo's. Stay safe, everyone!

The property is so beautiful❤️ Great first Fireplace I saw. Awesome ceiling light in bathroom off of kitchen. WOW on the Storage Spaces Everywhere! Any idea when this was built? The more large trees the Developer would keep would mean more money for each house they put in there. BUT I doubt they will take the time to make plans to maneuver around them for a housing development. Thank you for showing us this Beauty before it’s Gone.

I believe the little kitchen like room next to large kitchen was usually called a "butler's kitchen" in these older houses. That house was a beauty!!
Such a shame vandals feel it is appropriate to damage property whether it be vacant, abandoned or still lived in.

Even as the house was, it was still so beautiful. I bet in its day it was loved and well taken care of. It is a sad reality though of these Beautiful homes that could be fixed up being replaced by cookie cutter houses, condominiums, and malls. All for the sake of profit. Thank you for doing this home.

Hello from a neighbor to the South in Western New York. Beautifol building! Thank you for being respectful with the profanity. Vandals seem to have no respect for the beauty of this place. The shelving was amazing! I could see it holding tons of books. That was an old water pump in the basement. Probably used befors any municipal water systems. Thank you for sharing a part of your day with us!
House was well built and extremely insulated since you cannot hear the road noises inside the house. Great bones - house was built to last what a shame.
I read about this several months ago in our local paper. I sent the article to Abandoned SC as I follow him as well. My heart aches when I see the destruction of history like this. The virtual crap they build these days will never last as long as this beauty. The craftsmanship has been lost and that garbage chipboard is in. Don't you just wish you could catch these vandals in action? BTW nice to see a photo of you! :-)
When I moved to my neighborhood 36 years ago on LI,NY there where lots of small homes with large property,they have since torn them down and built MC MANSIONS close together,the owners go in their garages and you never see them again only when they leave in the morning , we used to have a neighborhood where the kids played together and people at least talked to each other now nothing,VERY SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is such a beautiful home and the property is gorgeous, the birds are just singing and the pond is so peaceful. I love the patio.
The good outweighs the bad in watching these kind of videos but it just breaks my heart to see that gorgeous staircase torn apart, do they not have any beauty in their hearts?
Wow! I love all of the shelves and that rounded couch, I could probably fill all of those shelves up! with books and other things. I was not disappointed to see shelves in the basement.:>

Shame the tress couldn't be protected either. It drives me nuts when people chop down trees willy nilly. My neighbours moved in then quickly chopped down two lovely old trees which gave privacy and noise reduction, I could throttle them :-I

Tiki I'm so happy to see your videos again. Your filming and documentation are best and your narration is always so interesting, So sad to see another historical home being so horrifically vandalized and now demolished. There's no interest in preserving these beautiful homes of the past, and one day, I imagine people will look back and wonder, "Why?"

Thank you for several things... for documenting this house (I know where it stood) for the censoring the graffiti (my kids watch these too) and for your gentle reverence in exploring these places. I've seen photos of when the last couple lived there and it's heartbreaking to think of how much would have gone on there and now it's just gone

I like the way you said, 'box after box', because houses now have no heart. they are just places for people to be. There was a time when a house was a big part of a family, and it told it's story. Even when no one lived there, you can/could feel history. Stories untold. I've watched all your vids over the last couple of years, well done.

I will never understand what causing destruction does for a vandal. If they were to have their personal items vandalized the way that they destroy others things maybe they'd think twice about coming into someone's home or even these abandoned homes and just ripping them to shreds. Thanks again for the video, I had actually not seen this video when I found your channel. So I had watched almost all of your other videos and refreshed the page and here it is. I'm actually in the middle of watching, but I got so furious that I just had to come and put some words down before the escaped my train of thought. This was such an amazing home. Everything about the architecture of the place I loved. Such a shame for whatever reason it was abandoned and got into this shape. It makes me so very sad. Pam this is one of my favorite finds so far. I love all the books shelves and storage that house has. I'm sure it was a grand house when people lived in it. I wish they would let habitat for humanity go in and save some of the old wood work, windows and anything that could be used again. Shelves!! Coming from a family with several professors and being book lovers we have always put shelves into every room in our homes. But this one was super duper: they were built in which I love. Thanks for sharing!
You did a great job at giving us the feel of the house once was. Barely noticed the graffiti the way that was presented. And there was hints to as how bad it may have really been. Great Explore!

I've come across a lot of graffiti with just profane talk which is commonplace in these places, but here, It was mainly nasty pornographic sprayed images. I have families who sit down to watch my videos with their children, so I had to keep that audience in mind.
TikiTrex, is there a way to bitmap just the offensive images and keep most of the structural info?

This is one of the saddest ones I've seen in terms of how well appointed and up to date the house was. Such a gorgeous manor that's in good shape structurally speaking, it's such a shame it got demolished :(
I am from London, Ontario and would see this beautiful house between the trees while driving down the Fanshawe rd. The history and beauty of the land was amazing. It was disappointing to drive past one day to only see the house was completely gone... I thought maybe someday I'd tour the property as you did.
I was hoping to one day see the home being restored, and wondering why the house had been neglected, although the time I was too young to know it had been purchased by developers.
A few years ago I watched this video and searched deeper online as to why the house had been taken down, but the property still remains the same after all this time, the trees actually are protected! Such a shame it was too late to save the incredible house, now the property just sits.

Another great video, thank you. Live the link to the article too, as it shows some pictures of how it used to be, with many books! I did my first exploration of a old abandoned swimming pool, situated on a holiday camp in the UK, I was in their taking photos and I was discovered by two employees of the holiday site and escorted out and security was called. I explained i just wanted to take photos and they found it quite amusing, but I felt awful for the rest of my holiday and very guilty (another employee let me in as told him I was interested and I was so worried he would get told off, even though I told them I found my own way in, I was worried they would check the security tapes and see him let me in) so ever since I'm back to just exploring with you as it's safer and I don't get the horrible guilty feeling I still get when thinking about my summer holiday! So a big thank you, for allowing me do explore safely from my iPad! X
Thank you for posting the link to the newstory about the history of the house, it was nice to see the photos of the house in its glory. I think the owners when they sold it 'presumed' the next owner would respect the place like they did, so sad the the didnt have it registered to protect it before they sold it. That was a grand house, and it perfect shaped in 2009. (The house of shelves, is my favorite now :) )

An excellent video! Thank you for leaving out the profanities you found. At the age of. 66, I've learned all the words. It's a shame all the vandals did not show such interest in biology class. In my high school bio class we had the same idiotic action by our weekend boozers and such! You kept the viewers interest in shelves beyond compare! Thanks for your work. Please be careful in those vacant homes. They're dangerous!

Such beautiful, mysterious spaces, destined for demolition... so many of the places I've explored no longer exist, having been torn down or collapsed on their own. Keep documenting them - they won't be here forever.

Thank You Pam for another amazing find. I love that house; so beautiful, the landscape is so great. I love the bay windows. The back patio would be perfect, I could live there looking over the landscape, reading books on the patio; then when the mosquitoes started biting I could go to the screened in porch upstairs... that would be a beautiful view from there. The best one I think, this is my favorite but then every time you video at a property, I think it's my favorite lol but then this one I think is really my favorite. They're all my favorite but I really like this one.

Hey Tiki. If I am not mistaken, that rusty tank with the "wheel" was an old water tank & the wheel was part of a pump. Well water was pumped into the tank. Looks like that house was once amazing. Great video. Thanks Tiki.

that pump you saw was an old piston pump for the water system. it was the type used prior to modern deep well pumps or jet pumps.

Looked like a water pump on a sandpoint water system. We used to be able to pump water from the ground and the water table, before we polluted the water and had to have it treated.

Towel rack and mirror are still on wall .Maybe at one time only had a outside entrance into basement.

An absolutely beautiful home this was!! I sure wish someone could've saved it! I get so flipping sick of developers demolishing the most beautiful, well-constructed homes in order to replace then with crap that barely stands up for a few years (in comparison to the 200+ y/o homes I mean).
