SB19 "What" was sung by a group but he sang it alone. Actually, it's really hard naman talaga to sing SB19's "What" alone, so it's just amazing that he was able to do it. Grabe sya ang galing! 🙌👏👏👏
He is really good. But I came to realize difficult pala kantahin ang songs ng SB19, kakahingal at biglang tataas. The clarity and stability of their voices when singing live is beautiful and shows grabe na breath control and endurance. There were points halos naghahabol na si JM ng hininga but he is really good and brave to attempt especially What? I also like his take of Go Up before.

Those things need excellent breath support and very difficult imaintain habang sumasayaw ng todo like them. Kya maririnig mo ang breath nila while they dance during live shows. Yet, crystal clear, hindi nagbubuckle and on pitch. At stell can hold a high note long kahit sumasayaw. The other Filipino na same like them is Gary V. I don’t know about the others because either they can hit the high notes but do not dance or they dance but sing in lower key. Gary V is the only other one I know aside from esbi.

I think it's because SB19 is a group. When you sing their song, you're literally singing in place of five people... like that's not very easy esp. that includes Stell's high note and Ken's low registers. It's the same thing when a singer sings, say, a Little Mix ballad. I just know that is hard af unless ofc you're very talented.

I don't hear his voice strengths with this genre but I see that he enjoys what he's doing which I love. Btw, I do love him and I'm a recently avid fan of SB19! And so far, this is one of the bravest attempts to cover a boygroup song. Super awesome! Let's support OPM! :>
The arrangments of the songs do not suit him best but he did not sound bad at all. There are portions that listeners might find "off" but still tolerable and understandable considering that the songs are from a group. Might consider changing the arreglo next time but still a good performance.
