the judges didn't permit his triumph, he got the lowest score out of the three but the People's Choice/vote is more powerful. well deserved

He's not on his Best Element in the final round, but he's consistent and superb since the first day he joined TNT. He's my TNT Champion not just because of this medley performance, but because of his whole journey in Tawag ng Tanghalan. No wonder why Madlang People supported him and consistently topped the whole week battle.

If you have seen and heard JM kahit na this week lang (kahit na di pa iconsider yung previous performances nya na always standing ovation), kahit na tanggalin pa yung text votes, 2 of these three performances, he would still be #1 sa judges’ scores. That’s tuesday and friday. Thursday, he was #3. Hence, di naman questionable bakit naging madami supporters nya. He has earned support from people that even tho he somehow messed up in this medley, alam nila what he can do. Here in TnT, he is not defined by this performance alone, but of the combination of all his performances in the past as well. There’s a bigger chance na his supporters during TnT will most probably stay even after TnT. But of course, we will only know in the future.

Judges gave Him a low scores coz of the forgotten lyrics, the audience decided to give Him high scores for His voice, choice of songs and his styles. We're more tolerant, between birit and safe and simple songs, I'll choose JM.

Well deserved title! JM is a risk taker. He didn't play safe sa song choices nya. It may not be his best performance but it doesn't define him as a singer. Magaling talaga sya, may it be OPM or foreign songs. At the end of the day, the people are the one who will support them. And it shows that he already gained so much support. I, myself will definitely buy his albums no doubt! I love his voice, there something in his voice that really catches my heart. Go JM! And congratulations to Ayegee and Rachell a well! I also like them very much!

One of d best contenders of tnt.. champion of d millenial..
To be fair, all of the finalists had gone through a shit ton of levels before even becoming a finalist in the first place. Criticizing JM for having messy runs is like criticizing Ayegee for playing safe with her song choices, and Rachell for doing a typical finalist piece (she did her medley the best for me). The point is, any of the three deserve to win because TNT is a difficult singing competition compared to other existing competitions. TNT consists of technical and strict judges whom specialize in different fields and genres of music. Personally, i find JM deserving despite of having a messy medley. ALSO, we have to take note that this was their first time performing with a live band, not to mention the limited time to adjust with the band's timing. If you havent experienced how hard it is to perform with a live band, you dont have the right to judge any of the finalists. Congrats to JM, I hope he flourishes with his music career,,, the PH music industry needs more voices like him. Congrats to ayegee and rachell as well they are gems 🥰
I also wanted to add that ALL OF THEM are physically, emotionallya and vocally tired yet they still managed to give us their best. It's easy to judge without even putting yourselves in their positions.
Well said...apart from that, the industry is looking for someone whom they can easily market to the public. Marami ng biritera sa Pinas so nothing is so special about Rachel and Ayegee, although theyre both good...people is looking for a new breed of singer na kahit anong genre eh kayang bigyan ng justice, hinde yung same old style.
