Many thanks Six. Just a couple of days into being in England now and it is great to have sights and sounds around me that I haven't experienced for a long time. Catching up with friends while here as well. Many more adventures over the next few weeks. Stay well.
@@nicksturgeonbooks Isn't it amazing how a change in scenery and routine can boost your mood and your thought process? The daily motivation gets a jump start! Be well my friend!
Nick, I just discovered your videos today. You have lived quite a life. I would love to hear more of your travels across the United States and Mexico. I recently watched your video where you discuss a few analog items which you have carried with you across your years of travel. I wonder if you have ever read Tim O’Brien‘s book “The things they carried.” If not, it’s a marvelous read, exploring the lives of US soldiers in Vietnam and the things they carried with them.
Many thanks @lopset1271 It's always nice to read a comment from a new viewer. Consider joining the Newsletter - details above in the pinned comment - and this might be a way for you to catch up with occasional travel related pieces. I haven't heard of the Tim O'Brien book before and have looked at details of it online just before replying to you. I shall get myself a copy this coming week. I was given lifts by several Vietnam returners in 1981 while hitching across the US and was touched by their sharing with me. I shall look forward to the reading. I really appreciate the recommendation.
Hello Christine. Glad you enjoyed the video. Do check out the AlphaSmart devices. I have a writing session booked for this Sunday in my local coffee shop and will just be taking the AlphaSmart and my A6 notebook.
Hi @EmmaBennetAuthor Not only watching it (great film with Martin Sheen - The Way), but yes of course, walking it as well. This year we will go from Leon out to the coast to finish and hurl our boots into the waves, as is the tradition. Extra special for me because I have been walking the Camino these past few years wearing my father's boots in his memory.

How lovely to have your embroidered pouch. Have a wonderful trip.
Many thanks Ruby. Yes, it was my plimsoll bag at nursery school!
Have a great trip brother!

Good stuff, Mr. Sturgeon. Hope you have a super productive trip but ultimately: Enjoy, Grow, Reflect.
