Hello, Thank you for all your videos. You are the reason I purchased a Chery Tiggo 4 Pro. Question for you. Is there a repository or website where I can find software updates for my T4? I'd love to keep it updated. Thanks
Thanks very much for the msg. I hope you are really enjoy your T4. Unfortunately no site but the dealers update the systems and all the firmware from the media to CVT updates when they are available everytime the vehicle is taken for a service. I'm currently testing an update for the CVT for the T4 TURBO ELITE. It's suppose to help with the consumption. I'll be posting my first of 4 vids and my experiences for the next month. If its successful it'll be updated to all local T4 and then they'll move to the other Tiggos.
Well it would be better else the cluster won't match the tyres position. It's not a MUST but more of a preference to keep correct track of the position and easier.
I took mine today and was charged R300 and something by Chery Trichardt. I thought it's free 😩 the worse part I now see a warning light that says Check brake light which I did and found that the left brake light don't work. Now I have to take it back 😞
@@theBaldChery Thank you so much. It's a 2023 Tiggo 7 Pro Executive. It's a year old now with 37000km as I travel alot. Went to tell them about the brake light this morning before work and they said it's maybe the bulb. How is it that the bulb was fine when I dropped it for the tyre pressure thingy, there was no warning sign of brake light. The way I love my car but the dealership discourage me.
That's bullshit, that's the only dealer I've heard of charging. Lots of people have been to other dealers and had theirs done for free. Which dealer was that? Pls ask them how to rotate the tyres and keep the correct settings at the right spot.
No. It's free and takes about 5 min. Just need to give the dealer a call and ask for quick assistance. They'll tell you to come or ask when you can be available to do it.
So helpful thanks!
thank you for this, I need to show this video to Tableview so they know what to do

Hi
Im bout to do my tyre rotation this week 26/03. So after rotation the tpms MUST be done.
Well it would be better else the cluster won't match the tyres position. It's not a MUST but more of a preference to keep correct track of the position and easier.
Thanks Baldy.
Do appreciate ur feedback as well as all ur chery videos u post.
Did you take your car to Chery for the TPMS?

I'm going to a Chery event on Friday night with all the dealers. I'll be sure to mention this to the top guys at CHERYSA. Which model do you have?

Also, when i rotate my tyres, must i also do balancing and alignment before going to the dealer?
It is always recommended as the balancing on the front might be different from the back.
My dealer told me I have to pay for the calibration. Is this not covered?

Thanks for the reply. It's Alpine Chery Pinetown
I'm not surprised, I haven't heard anything positive about them. It's them and Pietermaritzburg that seem to always have some issues with aftersales.
Hi.Baldy do they charge for recalibration.
