After watching this very informative video if I’m going to buy an old car I’m getting another suburban, they are everywhere, everyone and their cousin can work on them, new parts are cheaper than used, just an army of parts because Silverado, Tahoe , Denali, Yukon and suburban are all the same thing. I just replaced the throttle body on the suburban, disconnected the battery for ten minutes to relearn the throttle body , googled this this sad day or triumphant day video depending how u want to look at it all in 30 minutes for $112.00. Great video sir. We never did hear how much the software or licensing cost.

Thanks for the video, will this work with the magneti marelli throttle body which came from a used car? (having in mind it worked on the other car). Or it has to be a new throttle body.

I have a volvo 2001 v70 and oh boy. What diagnostic thing do I need to buy to program the updates. To program after I have replaced the coil packs the spark plugs?? Before I did the above, I plugged in a scanner (not the specific volvo scanner) it printed out...the clutch position control sensor
The shop said (before looking at it) the software has never been updated. Oh, I would like to clearify I didn't replace the stuff up above LOL my son who does mechanic work ( not on volvos) did. Oh do you have to reprogram after you install anything on this car I have? Help please!
THANK YOU SAM , I REALLY LIKE YOUR VIDEOS BUT I MUST SAY IT WAS A BIT CHOPPYIER THAN USUAL . I KNOW HOW IT CAN BE WHEN YOUR ON A JOB AND TRYING TO GET IT COMPLETED IN A SHORT SPACE OF TIME . I THOUGHT THESE VIDEOS WOULD BE ABLE TO BE USED AS INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS BUT WITH TO MANY MISSING STEPS AND NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE THE HOLE PROCESS IT WOULD BE VERY HARD ON A TECH TO USE AS INSTRUCTIONS AND THANK YOU SIR FOR YOUR TIME .

I have not looked into the new vida tools. I have the new LAN tool and it was cheap. Yes you have to pay when you go to use it. Mostly cloud based now. Not a lot to download

When I go to chose my VCI it’s just a blank white pull down, is this a connection issue between my car and my laptop or is it something else?

I saw you choose mvci as the connect device, is it still acceptable for the interface to connect to read the car as of 2021?

I did install their drivers but no luck
