What really hurt this build is the flat ability gain nerfs. Pulse nades have a 121s base CD, meaning they only get 62.5% of all flat percent-based ability gains, which includes kickstarts, bomber, and Ionic Traces. Every source of ability regen this build used except for HoIL was decreased by 37.5%.
Ya I tried this build ok last weeks gm and it wasn’t even close to what it was before which Is way worse than what it was before the hoil nerfs. I swear strand is like the only good titan build for end game these days. And I’m sure they’ll hammer that next.
I've been running flashbangs with Armamentarium and a demo/voltshot undercurrent. They come back pretty quickly and provide good crowd control for anything not killed in the explosion. I like them better in pretty much every scenario except big stationary targets and I get to stun two champions with one grenade.
Man spend like 2 or 3 years playing exclusively chaos accelerant warlock; he literally discovered the contraverse hold for the community back in the day. If that doesn't give you godly grenade throwing skills, nothing will.

I have been searching for deep dive videos about the use of font mods vs quick starts. I think font mods are a waste of energy personally. Yet I have people in my clan that are dead set on using them. I point out to them that people like eso never use them. There isn't any respectable "build crafting" content creators that suggest them as far as I can tell. Can anyone give me some insight as to why that is exactly?

For a GM wouldn't armamentarium be better? Since it's a bit hard to use all your abilities (especially the shoulder charge) in a GM with HoIL to keep your abilities up. Also, what are your thoughts on Point Contact cannon brace for arc compared to HoIL?
Armamentarium gives no ability regen, only giving you two grenades. Use those two grenades and what do you have? You now have only 1 grenade recharging for the rest of the GM since it'd be crazy to wait for both grenades to fully recharge before throwing both again. HoIL gives you that recharge throughout the entire strike, resulting in dozens more grenades that you wouldn't have had if you ran armamentarium. Armamentarium is good if you don't have HoIL though

I really wish bungie would make an arc titan exotic specifically for grenades. Basically giving us old HoIL but only for arc. I mean I would rather have old HoIL back but since that was a little too strong since it was good on every subclass, I would happily take one just for arc. Or void would be cool. Thats the main issue with those 2 subclasses right now. There isn't a good end game exotic aside from watered down hoil.
@@four321zero Theres really only 2 sort of and thats HoIL or Peregrine Grieves. Theres also a decent precious scars build but there just isn't an S tier void build right now.
Void Titan as it currently stands in endgame PvE is almost worse in almost every way compared to Well. All they need to do is to bring back the 35% dmg buff to bubble and have it to where the shield throw can be caught and melee refunded similar to strand Hunter. That alone would make void worth using again, especially with the new aspects coming in TFS with the grenade block ability.
@@four321zerodoomfang Pauldrom build is actually legit. Second chance is decent if they’re barrier champs. HOIL build works but its lack luster bc warlock does it better. Peregrines is cool but very niche.

I had no clue thst ionic traces were caught in those changes. That explains so much of my confusion lately when playing arc Warlock.

it helps when you just use tclap and actually use the melee.. pretty sure he didn't melee a single time x2 grenade empowerment is 35% dmg increase
