I'm traveling rainy Istanbul, and I love it. In this video, I visit a very local barbershop, where Orhan, with 60 years of barber experience, gives me a 5 star shave. Visiting a Turkish barbershop in Turkey? Yeah. This is the perfect day in Istanbul for me!

Oh, I love this wonderful country. Before the war, I have been to Turkey 🇹🇷 three times. I'm recommending going to Kusadasi. They have some wonderful barbers up there ( from my experience)

Thank you my friend Jason, for your positive comments about our country and our barbers. If you want to go to a good barber again one day, here are three tips:
1) Nişantaşı Üçgen Barber (Yes, it is a small shop and the inside of the shop is triangular in shape -Üçgen meaning in Turkish: Triangle-)
2) Nişantaşı Kuaför Saadettin (I think this place is a bit expensive, you may need to pay 50-100 dollars for a good shave)
3) Beşiktaş Koç Barber (This is a barber shop with affordable prices and where kind people work, this is my favorite, I have to travel 14 km from home to go here to shave. I used to live in Beşiktaş and even if I move there, I don't want to give up my barber.)
Remember, though, that these experiences are personal.
Especially Beşiktaş Koç Barber is my favorite.
If you want to drink whiskey while shaving, you can choose the expensive barber shop in Nişantaşı (Nişantaşı Kuaför Saadettin) but it's not my favorite - sometimes i go.
