Great way to overheat that sled. You definitely found the better sled, those 550s are boat anchors.

Scared to blip the throttle on idle but you'll ride it on no snow and potentially burn it up lol. Solid sled though. When going though carbs make sure you blow out every single passage very well or you will be going through them again soon. I believe these have the flat slide style and need the o rings inside replaced frequently.

Hopefully you get some snow to really test this out. I'm debating on what size to get great deals around here on 600, 700 and 800's. I know the 800's have crank issues so probably be a 600 or 700. Love to see more videos on this and what mods u do if any.

@lukebrinkman9263 both my brothers got a fan cooled 550 and a Edge 500, I'm not sure on there model name but once we get snow we are going to take them out to some bean fields, thank you for the feedback!

Sorry to burst your bubble bud but you need to pull the carbs and thoroughly clean them. That sled is not running good at all, if you continue to run it you'll be looking for another one. Ves valves should be pulled and inspected/cleaned. Never believe what a previous owner tells you, especially with a pro x. They're rose hard and put away wet.
