    For people that did everything correctly and it still doesn't work. Try adjusting your sound detector sensitivity with a screwdriver or something similiar (some of them come muted in the package so you have to unmute them with a tool). That worked for me.

    How can I use this in a system that deters barking dogs? I currently have a system I wired together that runs high pitch piezo tweeter speakers on a remote but that doesn't work when I'm not home to activate it. The over the counter bark deterrents are useless. I need it to stay on for 30 seconds when it detects noise but no shut off when it detects the second bark. Any ideas?

      There is a trick to find the COM port related to arduino. You can search Device Manager on windows search bar and then click on Ports to find the arduino COM port. Also you can see which port is appearing new when you plug the usb and when you unplug.

      Have you tried the project yourself and did it work? How can you tell a real working project fake just by hearing de-sync sound.I can give proof with a new video with the same code.See the comments below, user Ellirehd
      (on bottom 3rd comment) he made it successful.I can do this project again and again to prove it's real.

      @@ABID5 I don't say that this project itself is fake or code is bad, or something else. I say this video is possible fake. There is difference. Everyone can look this video with 0.25x speed, check leds and make own decision. I mean checking only mic module and Arduino leds, without sound.
      Sorry, but it's just a little bit sucpisious, when you say, that you direct Arduino red led with two clap, but Arduino red led flash with constant speed. And at time 1:45 leds flashes in this order: mic module led 1. time flash -> Arduino red led turns on -> mic module led 2. time flash. :)

    I missed what he said about pin 13, can someone please tell me?

    • @MrDmadness
      @MrDmadness 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pin 13 is the pin that the led on the arduino board responds too ( the one ON the pcb ) and as such has a built in resistor. Hes saying that pin 13 has a resistor built in and will not need one for an led plugged directly into it, meaning that power has to go voltage ( dc ) -> pin 13 ( anode of led ) -> resistor -> back to power source ( ground ) ... I don't know this to be true but I feel like it may ( may) not be consistent through all arduino clones. IF this is the case then it must mean that the chain is in fact: power > resistor > pin 13 > ground ( back to power source . Though this confuses me as to my knowledge the resistor must be on the cathode ( down stream of the led)

    This project is just bad, I am sure 100% (note that I did not test it) it will conflict with other sounds easily, I read your code, and it is very bad. You are only using the D0 pin, it would be better if you used the A0 to analyze the sound waves that are coming from the microphone. Wherever you go, you will find people who just upload videos on TH-cam for money. Do your work correctly, then we can talk.

    • @ABID5
      @ABID5  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol.. Cannot analyze the sound wave beacuse the output signal is digital.

    • @hasanamkieh7386
      @hasanamkieh7386 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ABID5 No, the A0 outputs the sound signal from the microphone directly, you can modify the output voltage range using the variable resistor, the "D0" only gives you the opposite of the normal value when there is a difference of the nominal loudness, this nominal loudness is determined by the variable resistor indirectly, it is lowering the voltage of the sound wave, and this voltage is being compared with 2.5V, then it flickers. But how much is the difference, or for how many nano seconds (nano for more accuracy), with these two things, you will never be able to differ between other sounds, and there two things will never give you the ability to differ b/w different sounds. Plus, the microphone is really bad, I saw way more better microphones, the sensitivity of this microphone is pain in the ass. Plus, I feel like the response is bad, I have a better microphone with a good amplifier called "ADMP401" or "ADMP404". The difference between these two is the sensitivity, with that being said, you also need a better faster and more reliable ADC (Analog to Digital Converter), because of course the processor cannot process analog data, so you need to convert it into digital form. Use the "ADS1115" which is a famous ADC, it uses the "I2C" interface for communication. I said all of these information without flickering, searching on the internet nor checking any resource. You should be better than me, I am here for science, not for money or fame. Until now, I have not seen anyone who was able to differentiate b/w the clapping sound and other sounds using some simple and cheap circuts, without the necessity of any smart devices like PCs or smart phones, I think only one guy who has done it correctly, which is "GreatScott!", go search his work, I don't have time to search. I hope I have helped someone in this world...

  • @hasanamkieh7386
    @hasanamkieh7386 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Bruh, all you did is just buy a sensor that can detect clapping by itself, no need to tire yourself, do you? Nothing spectacular to see here.
