GREAT RE-CREATION TOMMY!! I rode this Attraction in the very back row in 2008, and have yet to Experience the front row, but this Re-Creation is the next BEST to Experiencing the Real Thing!! ^_^
Really well done! You nailed everything in this recreation from the landscaping to the disco yeti, brilliant! Looking forward to the behind the scenes, if your doing one? 😄
Supremely perfect job on the re-creation, Tommy. I've watched the actual ride once or twice here on YT and you nailed it, especially the stop-and-reverse torn track section. That looked exactly like the real ride.
I rode this ride in the rain and it hurt so bad. we were the last train to run before it was stopped due to lightning and the rain pelted against your face so hard going 60mph...
Tommy, Tommy, Tommy. I’ve watched POV’s of this ride and you 💯 nailed it! It’s perfection. The level of craftsmanship & artistry that you bring to this game always leaves me speechless! ☮️❤️Blessed🐝 - SmilingGal333 😃
Heres an idea to another ride to recreate, the timber mountain log ride from Knott's. I think that that would end up real nice.BTW, your coasters are always nice.
Love this recreation. I've started to recreate some Disney rides myself. Done Tower of Terror and Rock'n'Roller coaster so far. Working on Great Movie Ride now. I've subbed.
As someone who has worked there for a few years, I know the ride inside and out. Down to the little details. It’s required to know the ride as such so we can know easily when something is wrong and we can address it. This recreation is just about spot on and I’m very impressed. I’d say a solid 90% accurate. The things that wasn’t right was either a restriction of the game and scenic elements or a little miscalculation. Like the radius of the turn off of the first drop was a little drawn out. And the break zone before the drop is actually inclined and not horizontal. Then the shadow should be a little more above the train just to the right. But like I said, I’d say these might be game limitations. But I’m very impressed at the little details as compared to the things that are wrong. Like the broken track, the color of the mountain, the handrail on the lift, the placement and color of the catwalk through the ride. Even to the stair placement on the backside of the mountain on the curve back into it. Not all the stairs are regular stairs. There are platforms in between. And then it switches to the other side at the top of it. In all, it’s a very good job!
You should do more recreations like this! I think your specialty is recreation of real rides AND having a source material to work with like when you used the E.T movie for a custom coaster experience.
WOW, that was REALLY cool to see this ride in 4K and 60fps recreation! Do you have one for The Rise of the Resistance and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind?
So, I was happy with the overall turnout of this ride. And being who you are, I expected nothing but awesomeness. My only gripe is when the train goes backwards and stops and we’re all watching the Yeti. You have the image of the Yeti much further to the right than in the actual ride. I actually confirmed this by rewatching my video when I was at Disney and went on that ride. I know the environment and boundaries of the park itself kind of force us to change it, but why did you decide to put the Yeti so far to the right of the track itself? REGARDLESS OF YOUR ANSWER, I expected an amazing recreation, and YOU ABSOLUTELY DELIVERED! Well done Tommy! Also, I figured out what the issue was with my Jurassic Park recreation. Thanks again for your help with that one. Keep up the awesome job!
@TommyT 067 Here's my advice: you should make another Disney ride from Disney Animal Kingdom is DINOSAUR and don't forget to add some dinosaurs including Styracosaurus, Alioramus (eating a crocodile), Parasaurolophus (mom and her two sleeping babies), Velociraptor, Carnotaurus (4 of them), Saltasaurus (head and neck only), Cearadactylus (babies on the nest and mom soaring in the sky), Compsognathus (CGI projection) and Iguanodon.
Awesome! How do you get the track so close to the ground? With auto tunneling it clears a huge chunk of ground from under the track... But by trying to shape the ground first then lay track on top it's infuriatingly time consuming....
@@TommyT067 at one time the actual one moved (a lot)...he was fast and scary because he moved so lifelike. He has been broken for some time now. So that was my joke...because both are stationary.
