M McAdam I didn't grow up on this, it aired once and I was lucky to have been aware of it flipping through, as usual, the TV Guide back throughout the 1970s. California, USA.
Many years before they did things for Nick, Jr. (The Adventures of Tintin; Rupert and Little Bear), Nelvana blessed 1970s animation fanatics with A Cosmic Christmas in 1977 and then this.
I saw this on TV and a few weeks later they showed it to the 1-3rd grade kids in the multi purpose room. I was so excited to see it a second time and told the kid next to me that I just saw it and he snapped back that I was a liar. Good times...

back when teletoon cared about actual animation.. this was on.. it was like..1998-2005 it was shown around halloween. man.. i wish that shit was still real.
It just hit me that BL's contract is void. She's meant to be a star, meaning people are gonna love her and enjoy her. The lady reporter looks like she hates even being there that means she doesn't care and doesn't acknowledge her being a Star. If fact not even Dan seemed to notice at all. This means that unless she's a Star to everyone the contract is voided.
I dont know how I just discovered this at 53 years old! I've been a fan of fritz the cat and heavy traffic and others for ages. This is awesome.
Imo. It's because it's a Canadian production. It was sabotaged in the US.
I remember watching this on prime time tv in the late 70’s. I’ve never forgotten it. So glad I found it here.
This movie really had a good moral, Stardom means nothing without real friends or your soul.
I grew up in Queens, NY and I remember this playing in the public library. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Brings back good memories.
Still relevant in 2023 🤷🏽♀️! Great cartoon nostalgia
I FINALLY FOUND IT
I grew up with this. Saw it on TV when it first came out; we Canadian kids LOVED THIS.

Gostei muito do trabalho que a banda Bauhaus fez com o áudio deste desenho animado, na música Party of the First Part.
She should have made a deal with the Gods of Metal instead. They'd have given her a fair shake
A guy that would save you from the devil
I would...If I could.
I like how they represent Satan as the dragon. After all that's what he is as well
This is some seriously dark shit...

Tony Jay as the Devil😎😎😎
Not Tony Jay, sadly. The voice actor is Chris Wiggins, who also plays the evil No Heart in the CARE BEARS TV show.
Tony Jay’s voice is MUCH deeper than that
