I became aware of how fun wallpaper removal can be two weeks ago. Thanks for the tips Rob.

Good video, the perforator is a great tool for this paper, I use a paper tiger for smoother texture painted surfaces, but for the job to be much quicker, ditch the steamer and use a garden sprayer, soaking it 3 times, by the time you have sprayed it once it's ready to go again and then the third time. The paper will just peel off after 15 mind soaking

Oh that looks just like my walls, down to the magnolia paint over the woodchip. I've borrowed a steamer though so soon the woodchip will be no more!

      Did it work?

It did! I was lucky - it seems some walls are easier to steam than others. Bedroom down, still have living room, kitchen and hallway to go.

This give me hope! I just went to my local Home Depot to ask about renting a steamer; hopefully we can get it done without too much trouble. Thanks for answering!

Steamers can be pretty cheap - it may be more cost-effective just to buy one. I borrowed one from a friend.

Sarah Moore How long does it take you more or less?
I will have to do this for my new apartment and I'm not really looking forward for it
