I think you forgot about the most important adjustment spruce. Hit xbox logo on Xbox and ps logo on PlayStation and Just hit quit game. Next scroll over to madden and hit uninstall, and then install any other game you want. This will make your life so much better.

This is awesome in depth stuff. A little late, but I would like to see another video where you break down the zone assignments. Maybe something with what zones can stop certain routes your opponent keeps beating you with, like you did for the Texas route.

This year I didn't play till Christmas then took a break from February to this past weekend. I'm currently on a week-long holiday and decided to pick it up and really get back to past Glory 🤣🙈. Not surprisingly, I'm realising slightly older guys like you, WinMadden & Eric Rayweather are far better insteuctors than the young, loud guys. This video would have saved me many losses if I saw it at Christmas, it brings everything it took me 2 years to figure out in 1 hr and you've earned a new (albeit late) follow 🙏🏾❤️

It definitely takes time to develop the muscle memory for these adjustments, but if you stick with it then eventually they'll become second nature!

Your zone drops will actually cause the dlineman to jump to whatever depth you have set....he'll drop to his default and then he'll either come in or deep.....higher zone cov rating has guy go straight to the zone drop and won't head to the default spot immediately.
In my opinion I am surprised I haven’t seen very many people run big nickle over g and I do and they have almost every coverage in the game it may not be as easy to adjust from but it has the best coverage defenses in the game I found defense and I’m tryna help y’all go to nickle over g also it does have a glitch blitz 👏☠️
BNOG is an excellent defense! I've been using Nickel Normal which is extremely similar, I just like the alignment slightly better than BNOG, although the BNOG gap shoot is better

Maybe a coverage play and a blitz formation you use from Nickel Normal - I’ve been rotating between that and the 4-3 even 6-1 in the Chiefs defensive playbook. The latter part in thanks to your recent breakdown of becoming the best defensive player. Your breakdowns are always very clear, concise and easy to understand. It really is appreciated the level of depth you go into for each video and all the adjustments! Keep crushing it!
Can you or anyone help me how to read the defense when there in tight or close or compressed formations????? I already know for the most part in general how to read the defense when there in Bunch or off wk or spread formations which I find much easier for me..
Any tips on improving the speed on making these adjustments. Is it just muscle Memory. Im looking to make specific player adjustments to box coverage for a star WR for example.
It really is just muscle memory! At first it's super slow, but I promise that with enough reps it will become second nature. I would start in practice mode and get a little bit of muscle memory, and then start doing it in games. There are definitely some growing pains in games while you get faster at it, but in the long run it's 100% worth it!
Hey man! Cover 2 and Cover 3 often have outside leverage, and you could also try base aligning (either in coaching adjustments or as a pre-snap adjustment)
PS4 will be essentially a copy+paste, PS5 is a fairly different game. Also with a majority of the player base on the next gen consoles, those will have to be my sole focus this year

Thank you Jonnie! Usering is definitely one of those things that just improves over time. I might have to add it to my list of videos to make, but for now my best advice is get comfortable usering over the middle of the field, and especially get used to looking for crossing routes (slants, posts, crossers) that might be coming open. On current gen you can user multiple routes on a play because the movement is fast, but on next gen try to pick one route and stick to it.

Know it's late but it's part of the run fit (F- force run inside) basically sets the edge and C (cutback) covers for the running back cutting back to the backside.
I know I'm late, but for the man quick adjustments is there a way to stop the buttons from changing? Example: when I try to man my safety on someone the button is not always the same, it will usually be a Lb or y, vise versa the other side as well

Not sure if you'll see this or if you still need an answer, but if you turn off auto flip for the formation then it should fix it

Pass commit applies to the whole defense, there isn't a way to apply it to a specific position group
