Finally an interviewer who’s very enthusiastic about the actor’s craft. They are at ease just having a conversation.
Totally agree bb, I have seen his interviews with Jimmy Fallon and James Corden where they try to show off their interview skills than making Sam to feel at ease.

He is unbelievable humble, AMAZINGLY TALENTED ACTOR ‼️‼️. If Only STARZ NEWORK would invest on promoting him with the main awards entities as they do his co-star...because his just as talented as Cait. Love them both...& appreciate theirs brilliant performance, their physical and iner beautiful selfs. OUTLANDER would not be as successful as it is with out neither one of them. 🤔👍😍
He's also super HOT & plays such a cool guy !!! Perfect for the part. He's played in Hallmark movies before this. Maybe more we haven't seen yet.
Oh my! I have just discovered Outlander. I am now in love with the characters played by Sam and Cait. Sam's 'Jamie Fraser' is for me now the perfect man. I was really touche to watch the emotions he showed. And now hearing some interviews with him i can see how humble person he is. He has so much kindness in himself. His played so well. I have become a huge fan of his talent now. I hope he gets more known in the world now and receives good roles.

Excellent Job by Tim Kash. Right questions with right pace and i can see how Sam is at ease. I have watched so many interviews of Sam with famous show presenters but this is the best interview of Sam aka Jamie.
Sam, what can I say you give so much of yourself and your precious time and as for acting..we all know that Cait is a brilliant actress but c'mon..you are absolutely brilliant too. Give yourself some credit ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Sam Heughan is such a wonderful actor. I can see all emotions through his eyes and non verbal cues. I am moved easily when there is incredible chemistry between characters. It is amazing how well he and Caitriona Balfe relate and make it so believable. I'm sad to say that I never read the books by Diana G. but the TV version is incredible. I've been pulled towards Scotland since I was little and this show gives me so much. I am still moved by season 1 and all that Jamie had gone through - speaks volumes to Sam's acting. Praying for another 10 seasons - a girl can dream. PS. Season 5 finale was so heartbreaking - but loved the line “She’s bound by an oath, It is myself that kills for her.”
Sam is a real humble Scotsman with both feet on the ground. That he definitely needs to survive in that tough and hard business. Stay healthy and please remain mentally strong and continue to be true to yourself; then you will manage everything🏆skål & slainte

Great interview!! Well done!! Sam is always very calm, interesting and intelligent man who loves his character and is more, much more than his good looking self!! He is a graduate of Scotland’s prestige School of Drama, therefore, stage trained and is a consummate complete actor!! Sam uses every part of himself sometimes giving truly incredible performances without ever speaking a word! In S3 when he had to leave Willie behind was exquisitely done!! He has scenes in each Season that he deserved an Emmy &/or Golden Globe and hasn’t ever even been nominated!! What’s with that? Cait has been nominated, and deservedly so, 4 times in the past 4 Seasons!!
Love Outlander series novels by Diana Gabaldon that Outlander the series are adapted from by Showrunner Ron D Moore! They have fabulous Wrirers,, Producers, Directors and Set Design and Costume Design!! They all deserve Emmys and Golden Globes as well!!

@@annerodgers4081 heavens they rnt old at all when I was their age I was going all the time mountain climbing scuba diving playing golf and working faithfully at the gym which gave me all the strength I needed to do anything plus I was an R.N. working trauma 12 hour shifts life itself was so exciting♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍 so no Sam and Cait r not old by any means besides men as they age r like a fine wine women don’t age to well😢

I agree, very good interview, pleasure to see Sam cool and calm and chatting about his life, none of the nonsense that I have seen tons of everywhere, I think he likes to be in a cozy and comfortable environment, they should do the same kind of interview with Caitriona and also two of them together :-) I love them both, so any combination thereof would be wonderful! I'm a longtime fan (since the first book came out.) I'll never forget the first episode, when we first see Sam. I gasped and cried 'THAT'S JAMIE.' So yeah, he'll do. It took me a few episodes to appreciate Cait. I'm still working on Sophie.

Having gotten past the season finale, this interview is very good! It's nice to have something for our quarantine ("stay-at-home") time. Sam H. is the only actor who could fill the shoes of Jamie on the show "Outlander". What I enjoy is the way real history has been woven into the story - because my own family history and the story of America is one that Scotsmen have played an important part in the settlement of the continent! I can't wait to see how the story develops in the coming season! Great interview - Keep it up - Looking forward to more!

Excellent interview!!! The interviewer asked intelligent questions and there was not a fangirl in sight. Love hearing Sam discuss the correlation of he and his character Jamie “growing up” together as in a sense that’s exactly what’s happened. Sam was his early thirties at the beginning of OL and now approaching his mid forties. (Just seeing this, June 2024). Excellent interview.
My husband is now obsessed with this show. He compared it to Star Wars. You have Jamie as Luke sky walker . Clair as princess Leah , Murtaugh as chewy . BJR as Darth Vader , I found it funny he compared it to Star Wars but he loves the show. etc.. anyway he watched season 2 all day Sunday . He’s now on season 3 . He can’t wait to read the books . He is now looking into his Scottish heritage as well.
My son started watching it with me when he looked up Culloden and found it was a real war.

Sam has grown more handsome as he has aged. On Midsomer Murders he had such a baby face.

II really think his study of acting is something we don't usually see on screen. He shows a great range in his craft, I can't wait to see more of it. Do you ever get so wrapped up in a character that you have to convince yourself it's okay, he's not really dead, he is actually living somewhere on this planet?? That's how I feel watching him.
He really is incredibly talented. He has developed his craft well. His timing, body language, speech, rate of speech, voice inflection, body positioning, facial expressions, eye contact, and more is all superb. I haven’t seen many actors with his level of skill. He is so believable. I have been impressed with him as a person also. Clearly he is intelligent and his personality is endearing. He’s funny, kind, introspective, and most importantly, a genuine person. I wish him much happiness.
I don’t think I could watch the show anymore if they put in a different man to replace Sam, he’s plenty big enough love his acting, it’s Sam or not at all👍🏼

Just picked up on Outlander very recently and binged watched all 5 seasons in 3 weeks - don't judge me - and now I just got the first book to read. It would be hard to imagine these characters as described in the book knowing how they look like on the show cuz all I'm gonna see are Sam and Caitriona's faces.

I found Outlander in Netflix and I loved the TV show since the beginning and then looked up for the persons behind the characters. Cait is a funny nice lady but this man...the most I see him, I like him more over all in interviews like this: down to earth and humble. I declare myself Sam Heughan lover 😆

Well my husband is on season 4 now . He’s determined to catch up to me. He was happy I bought all the books so he can read them with me. He questions things , talks to the tv like he’s watching football and then questions me about stuff . So happy he loves the show. Was upset the theaters are closed cause we didn’t get a chance to see bloodshot .

You can stream/purchase Bloodshot on Amazon Prime for $19.99 and own it. Stream it as many times as you want. I was thinking it would be a good way to support Sam with the theaters closed.
