I never heard of a State Room 71. That's why I HATE computer narration. Get a person to read the script so we don't get stupid stuff like that. Edit: Oops. I guess the computer is saying State Route not State Room. Still calling it anything besides SR-71 will just confuse people.
I know, right? Jeez! Let's stop with the so-called artificial intelligence (which may be artificial but it's far from intelligent) and get some REAL intelligence to narrate these videos.
True, the script said "SR" but for some reason the AI added words i didn't put in the script LOL. I did a terrible job double checking the narration, so my bad. Ive done better since then. If you know all of them then you're above average, i didn't :D
Not exactly although it was a stepping stone on the way there I would say almost less so than the Wildcat to the Hellcat. But still a learning experience making design of the latter plane easier.
Yeah, that's YF-23 was just a filler shot😁 The F-20 is a good catch, I should have included it. It was very promising, worked well but just had some bad luck. I'll make another list to include it.
The XP-50 cancelled, then became XP-50 which lost a USAAF flyoff competition to the XP-38. The XF7F (G-51) made it to Naval production but the USAAF wanted one of these for testing designating it XP-65. Identical to F7F but had high-altitude superchargers. Lost interest and sole example location is unknown.
It was a list of 10...not 11....The F20 Tigershark was privately funded and did not get the international orders it was expected to get. It was a shame as the F404 Engine really was a great engine for that export fighter concept.
Only 3 I have never hear of are the YF-90, Heinrich Pursuit, and strongly, having worked on the F/A-18A while assigned to VFA-305, the F-18L. I have heard of the YF-17A.
The Skyrocket DID see active service.....in DC Comics' "Blackhawks" series. And yeah....either find a better AI reader or do the narration yourself....the obvious errors are irritating...at least LISTEN to the playback before posting.
To those who sat through this pile of junk, please us the thumbs down button. It does work and there are apps which will display the numbers of thumbs down.
****** computer narration strikes again! And even this English chap knew 5 of these aeroplanes. Oh, and a bit of advice, do NOT say "You've never heard of." Seriously.
I would also like to have epic music play as I walk down the street but it seems this is not the planet where we always get what we want🤣 In all seriousness though, you're right, I didn't pay enough attention on this video. Truth is I was still learning how to use my editing software and assumed the narration would be fine without double checking. We learn and grow😊
The "State Route" 71, a precursor to the "Country Highway" 53 and "Artificial Canal" 130...
I never heard of a State Room 71. That's why I HATE computer narration. Get a person to read the script so we don't get stupid stuff like that.
Edit: Oops. I guess the computer is saying State Route not State Room. Still calling it anything besides SR-71 will just confuse people.
Fair point. The new videos will have a real voice😊
The State Room 71 was designed by Lockheed's Skunk...Works. 😂
I am pretty sure it was State Route 71 although which state isn't immediately clear.
‘State Route 71’ 😂 robot
true🤣
I thought he said state room. Hmm. I'll go listen again.
I know, right? Jeez! Let's stop with the so-called artificial intelligence (which may be artificial but it's far from intelligent) and get some REAL intelligence to narrate these videos.
I turned off the video not long after. There were other pieces of bad info before that.
Is it so hard for video creators to actually listen to what the generative bots are creating before they post?
SR = Strategic Reconnaissance not state route. By the way I know about all these aircraft, they're not that unknown!
True, the script said "SR" but for some reason the AI added words i didn't put in the script LOL. I did a terrible job double checking the narration, so my bad. Ive done better since then. If you know all of them then you're above average, i didn't :D
@@Curiouslist Firstly don't use AI and secondly I'm 72 and have been an aviation enthusiast most of my life.
One fighter that did not make it was the F-16 XL. It was a delta wing like design.
The Grumman Skyrocket became the F7F Tigercat. Entered the war too late to see action. Saw some action in Korea as a night fighter.
Not exactly although it was a stepping stone on the way there I would say almost less so than the Wildcat to the Hellcat. But still a learning experience making design of the latter plane easier.
I think the tiger shark would have been a good fighter highly maneuverable and fast and lightweight
While you saw a shot of it , no mention of the YF-23
Also no mention of the F-20 TigerShark
Yeah, that's YF-23 was just a filler shot😁 The F-20 is a good catch, I should have included it. It was very promising, worked well but just had some bad luck. I'll make another list to include it.
youve heard of those.
The list is "what you've never heard of". I know most of these but I would suggest that the F20 and YF23 are more commonly known.
Reagan, and the ejection seat was the Problem.
The "Gruumen" X10? Also Kelly Johnson headed up the Skunk Works. Robot.

No YF-23?
What about the Northrop F-20 Tigershark?
It was a list of 10...not 11....The F20 Tigershark was privately funded and did not get the international orders it was expected to get. It was a shame as the F404 Engine really was a great engine for that export fighter concept.
This narration is so bad, it's beyond bad. There are SO many better channels out there where a human reads and discusses their material.
The narration will improve over time, promise😁we all got to start from somewhere. Thanks for your valued feedback, I appreciate it.
@@Curiouslista good starting point would be for an actual human who knows the material to actually read the material.
@Curiouslist ummm...no! How about you listen to the people watching your video, lose the RoboVoice and get a real person!
Only 3 I have never hear of are the YF-90, Heinrich Pursuit, and strongly, having worked on the F/A-18A while assigned to VFA-305, the F-18L. I have heard of the YF-17A.
Wow, the fact that you actually worked on some of these machines is awesome. Respect!☺
What about the Boeing Skyfox, a heavily Modified T-33A?
That was intended to be a trainer, not a fighter.
The Moonbat and the Ascender might have been more successful with jet engines.
I think so too. Too bad they never got the funding to do so for the Moonbat
F-18L? Wasn't that the F-17?
I believe that at least F-18l could have proceed and Greece could have buy the aircraft.
The Skyrocket DID see active service.....in DC Comics' "Blackhawks" series.
And yeah....either find a better AI reader or do the narration yourself....the obvious errors are irritating...at least LISTEN to the playback before posting.
Was the De Havilland Mosquito was not a dual engined fighter?
One version was a fighter bomber.
One version was a fighter bomber.
Where the heck is the F-107 in this list? Some list you have here. #1 should have been F-107 and #2 YF-23.
F20 fastest time to climb
Fastest self stabilizing radar
State Route-71 Blackbird???
It's Strategic Reconnaissance but I don't know why the AI said that instead and how I missed it. I learnt a valuable lesson about AI voice overs
DOWN WITH BOTS. "Grooman". Indeed.
Wtf no F21?
Looks like a new list is needed to include it😊
@@Curiouslist i meant 23

@@Curiouslist Sure am.

I would like it if you could speak English and know what you are saying.
