What a game! Clutch hitting, aggressive base running that puts pressure on the opposing pitcher, enough good pitching, and defense. This team just seems to play well together, and it's great to see, as a Brewer fan and a person who appreciates good baseball.
Brewers did everything they could to lose that game and somehow still won. Delighted. Goldy looks lost, and the downfall of Arenado is tragic. How did the cards get so bad so quickly?
Bob Uecker is Milwaukee and IS THE BREWERS!! Being able to meet Mr.Uecker back in the late 70's and early 80's was an honor! He used to sign autographs after games back then. All the players did. Some may have had a bad game or they were in a hurry but for the most part the players were always decent, but Bob Uecker was always willing to sign, and even tell a story or two. He is truly a legend and a Hall of Fame caliber person! He is definitely one of, if not THE MOST ICONIC BROADCASTER EVER! ❤ Get up, get up, get outta here, GONE! A HOMERUN!! I can remember also hearing those iconic words on WTMJ Radio listening to games at Milwaukee County🏟Stadium🏟! There was absolutely nothing better than either spending the day at 🏟County🏟Stadium🏟 watching the Brewers play. Or having your radio with you as you sat at Wilson Park or Jackson Park and went 🎣fishing🎣 for Pan-Fish. Bluegills, Perch, maybe a Crappie, or a Bullhead. Sitting back under a tree, the breeze cooling you off, the game on the radio, just relaxing and loving life! Those were some of the most amazing, incredibly fun, and special times of my life. Wilson Park's pool was across 20th street, and on the corner of 27th and Howard next to Wilson Park's pool and indoor Ice ⛸skating⛸rink⛸ was a 🕹Toys🧸R🎱Us!🎮 Special doesn't begin to describe how much fun and joy those days brought to us.
Whoa Paul Goldschmidt begins the game 0-28 and struck out in his first AB to go 0-29. Now I've been a Brewers fan my entire life. Since the early 70's I've watched them. Back in the AL, when we faced the Cardinals in the 1982 🌎World🌎Series when we lost in 7. I have the utmost respect for the Cardinals franchise so I'm not going to bash them. Team go through slumps, rough patches, and times when it seems like nothing works. The Cardinals have always been a decent hitting team. Ozzie Smith, Tommy Herr, Willie McGee, and way back, Stan Musial. Plus countess other legendary players. This won't last. The Cardinals will bounce back. Their batting however seems as though they lost their discipline. Being aggressive is one thing but they seem to be too aggressive and that causes pop-ups, quick ground outs, strike outs, etc. I haven't been able to see many Cardinals games this season, so I'm not too sure if I'm seeing it correctly? I will say this however, I am not used to seeing the Cardinals hitting be so erratic. Besides there are 162 games in a season and teams have snapped out of their slump/funk and have made adjustments that ended up getting them back on track and possibly into the playoff chase. Crazier things have happened. Paul Goldschmidt did get a hit. 1-5 game, and that's a 1-33 stretch. Again that is one slump I never thought I'd see.
Even as a brewer fan it pains me to see Goldy struggle this bad. I almost feel like something is wrong with his eyesight. Anyway, let's hope he catches a little fire against the other NL central teams
That was a nice homer to save the day. Peralta also pulled some magic out of his hat to strike out two with bases loaded. After the showing yesterday, this was not impressive.
What are those batting averages for the Cardinals? Do they employ a single professional baseball player that can hit a ball. This is it? There’s nobody in their entire system who knows how to swing a bat?
See more of Hoby Milner, Trevor Megill, and the rest of the Brewers bullpen in "The Firemen": th-cam.com/play/PLVKeNFyNQoFtAyDYwy6fuZqNkSGKPdpva.html

crazy game man -- beautiful HR won us the game -- still great pitching by Peralta
What a game I was there! As I comment on every game win this year

Always good to see the Uecker statue

This team is going to be good for years to come
I've prayed for time like this.. my 1.5 games ahead of first place Milwaukee brewers are gonna sweep the CardiLoLs, good night folks!
I shit my pants watching this game
Brewers should be better than this by now. They should look at the Cardinals as a practice team and instead they are being seriously challenged.
@@someguy-k2hyou never underestimate a team no matter what there record is
@@someguy-k2hdid you see the first two games? They’re still professionals man, weird take
Did you shit because the game or you happened to shit while watching the game ?
@@tazzman1993 Lol. Prometheus has a weird take? How about the dude that shit his pants?

Longest series streak of all time. That’s something special
10:56 Golden Sombrero! Looked like he was swinging a sword.

I agree.
The kind of win a team needs to build into something greater.

At what point do you move goldy down in the lineup till he starts hitting again.
Or sit his ass on the bench and let someone else play first
I was at the game, Peralta got backed up lol.

goldy is having some kind of depth perception vision problem. can't explain it otherwise🤷♂
Hey its been enough, stop showing Double Shot Dad.
never bench yelich again
Had no choice since he was on the injured list
He’s not going to play every game. Rest days are important to keep him healthy
@@PistolPete2141 he's not on the IL anymore
Being careful with his back
8 in a row over the red birds?!! Wow! 10 out of the last 11?! cardinals Suck!!
Facts
Goldschmidt is trash 😂
