    Thank you for the story behind the items. I really enjoyed this video. You made me laugh about celery! Hope to see more like this!

    Patrick thank you SO much for taking the time to also show us the details of that lovely old house. And i agree that the long and fascinating history of the
    "German" states is quite a bit to untangle and so much fun to study.

      Thanks for watching Scott! Admittedly there aren’t a lot of places like this where I can do shop with me videos but I had fun. I may need to find more 👍

    Loved the video. The folding knives I see are fruit/seed pick knives. The sold comps look pretty promising when I noticed the asking price for the multiple knives in the case you found. I look forward to your next visit to that store.

    Great video! I love the additional video of the home, there is a gorgeous preserved Victorian home in Phoenix that I loved to visit that reminded me of the house. No super cool antique mall inside it though. :)

    Great video! Just means you have to go back to film the rest, especially the staircase.😅🤣😂

    Interesting video once again, thanks Patrick. Really beautiful Victorian house and great business premises for antique shop. It must have been a beautiful home for a wealthy family in its day. Too bad some of your videos were corrupted, but unfortunately it’s life with technology.

      I think it was a combination of user error and filling up my memory. But nothing earth shattering. I still got a lot and I can always go back. Thanks for watching 👍

    I am new to your video and I am delighted! I heard of you from Scott of the The Old Curiosity Shop. I am going to enjoy learning from you.

    Very informative video. The house steals my imagination. She is a lovely lady for sure. Are you in Illinois? Batavia and Geneva are great places to visit.

    I’ve heard Jeffrey Real Nifty Vintage call the little mugs “penny candy scoops”. Invalid feeder!!! Known only by the miraculous world of TH-cam Vintage community.

      Patrick is totally correct because the examples that he has were indeed manufactured by Federal Glass company, even into the 1960's, and marketed as shot glasses. They are often mistaken and mislabeled as "penny candy scoops" .

      The form is listed as a lot. But these in the amber were vintage but more modern than anything that would have been in a “penny candy bin”. The giveaway was the fact there was a set of four. That’s how they marketed them. As shot glasses. But they can be anything 😂. Thanks for watching

    Great video and store. Love the tea cart. Hope you decided to pick that up. Out of curiosity, what was the price on the tea cart?

    • @TrustyHucksterMercantile
      @TrustyHucksterMercantile  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not. I took its measurements and it’s a little big for anyplace I have for it. It was $275. Thanks for watching

    That female voice is distracting as heck. Nothing you can do about that though. Enjoying your video.

      Thanks for watching. I knew they were pretty close and when I was doing the edits I laughed because I said something in the intro about it being tight. And it was 😂. Thanks for watching watching
