Hey Emily! One thing that comes to mind with this multiple item beauty book is that some of us might use this as an introduction to Laura Geller products in general bc of the low price. But if the formulas are different, as you say for the blush, that could be misleading and disappointing. Not telling Laura Geller how to market her product line, but it just doesn't seem fair. I love the look you got with this book, but you have skills that most of us don't. Love your energy, and thank you for your focus!
That's a great point, about using this palette for a sort of Laura Gellar 101, an opportunity to try many of the brand's products all in one go for a relatively low price. I feel like I'd need to research thoroughly before giving it a shot. I'm shifting into the "mature" age bracket and it seems like this brand may have quite a bit to offer. But I would definitely want to know that the formulas in this palette are the same as what's in her standalone products. Emily mentioned It Cosmetics does a good job with this, making sure their annual beauty book palette is full of well-loved hero products as opposed to cheaper "holiday" formulations. I had meant to finally buy the It book last year but missed out, so hopefully this year the product release and my budget will be compatible. On the other hand, I was pretty bummed out by the Charlotte Tilbury face palettes, which I was initially interested in for very similar reasons, until I found out the powder formulas were different from her standalone products.

Love the concept at a basic level. I currently LOVE my Milani All Inclusive palette and dream of one day having an Hourglass Ambient Ligh Edit Sculpt palette one day. This is just Too Light and Too Blah and I'm not even dark.
I want the Hourglass palette so bad. Christmas is coming so I am trying my hardest to not buy anything right now. The Elephant palette is so pretty, and what I love, but it’s so expensive. Hopefully it’s still available after the holidays.

Ha! I picked up an Hourglass palette at Ulta and my nephew said he wouldn’t even spend $5 on it! And I think it was marked down to either 55 or 65. But I agree with you-it is pretty.
I noticed that recently on QVC.....it was actually released about 2 years ago for Christmas. Which is when I got it. I'm suspecting that's old stock they are trying to get rid of. I noticed the price was much less than the $50+ I paid......

Hmmm, I actually love all those midtone eyeshadow shades. They look better on me than icier shades and I love a one and some look. I’m definitely considering this one.
Reminds me of the PuPa kits, from the late 70s early 80s. I had one, and used it up completely, the fun part is that the make-up pans, in clear plastic cases could be removed, and the Big Red Case could be used as a party purse.
It makes more sense to not include a powder foundation, since not everyone will be able to use it. Maybe if they released different versions, light, medium and deep?
Thank you Em, I love face palettes! I have Milani All Inclusive Eyes, Cheeks and Face palette and I like it! When I was a teen-ager in Italy, in the 80s, my first face palette was by Pupa and I loved that one, also the way it was made; hard red plastic (had a kind of an oval look) and the inside held a little treasure of eyeshadows, mostly shimmering and I was so taken with the gold and the "burning embers" (black shadow with orange flecks.) It also had a basic foundation (a bit too dark for me, but I used it....at that age, anything goes and actually looks good on you lol). There were other pretty shadows, a blush a concealer, eye liner pencils and even mascara and lipstick, the rest, all in flat in little squares!!! I cannot even find a pic of it on the Internet and I am so nostalgic for it!!! Ah, memories..... Thank you for your amazing videos, I am so happy when you upload! Every time you end a video and say to all of us "I love you!" it is so touching because you are such a genuine person and Em, I love you too and your wonderful family, and that includes your pretty kittens! I feeeeeeeeel like they should’ve put the bronzer on the bottom of the first fold with the cream products at the top just because I’d worry about getting my brush into that bronzer and getting kick off in my highlighters and color correctors
Bought my first IT book last year based on your review and love it! Must say that the bronzer and setting powder in it are glowier than their regular ones which was a surprise to me, but really nice for a summery look. I've used their loose and pressed setting powder for years, hg for me in terms of pore minimizing. Looking forward to your review on the new one! If you do swatches and compare to their regular line quality, will be forever grateful. Woe be to IT if they don't change up the blush and the shadows this year, lol, but for my first book everything worked great and yes those concealers are still creamy. LG too expensive in Canada but appreciate your review!
The issue I usually have with these "full face" palettes is that the blush is either too brown or too cool toned pink for my coloring combined with a very gold highlighter that is often too dark for Fair/Light skin. I already use a bronzer, I don't need a brown blush ontop of that, it just makes my face look dirty.
Emily I have to thank you for recommending the IT Cosmetics Beauty Book last holiday season. Over the summer I was traveling for 6 weeks and it was absolutely indispensable when living out of a carryon suitcase! I still reach for it frequently because the quality is just so good and the shades are so practical.

This is interesting. I bought some Laura Geller products on your recommendation. I wish that she had put in two blushes (with one of them a much deeper colour) instead of both powder and cream highlighters.

Mine arrived today and I had to try it. Subtle is the name of the game, but that is what I was looking for. One thing I don't like is the products are not labeled as to use and there is no leaflet with directions.

This is a beautiful, full face palette! I don’t think I need it but I love that it has everything in it. Every year when you review the IT Cosmetics full face palette, I always end up buying them. I don’t really use them that often. I’m thinking I’m going to take one or two with me to Florida with me. They are perfect wedding palettes! Now I don’t have to stress over what makeup to bring. I thought I wanted more mattes and a more pigmented blush , but this look really works. The cheek products made your skin look glowing and flawless. That last shimmer shadow (Shindig) was deep enough to really amp up the glam, and it did that thing that a well pigmented shimmer does. Your lip shade is autumnal perfection. I feel like this would work as a grab-and-go palette, with enough variety to allow for some wiggle room. It's not taking up a lot of room in my tote.
Now that I’ve minimized my makeup collection, something like this would be really nice. Just wish I could have my liquid products somehow in there too 😆
One commenter said this looks like old stock from 2 yrs ago; she said she has the same one, and she bought it back then. IDK if that's true or not, but I wouldn't buy this just because it doesn't seem to be her real formulas, which are Incredible! I've got one bronzer, and 3 single blushes from her, and they're so smooth, they just glide over the skin, and create this luxurious, luminous flush of color. This formula doesn't appear to be that, which is sad because people who've never tried her brand before, and end up buying a sub par product, isn't good business. Can't wait for the IT Cosmetics palette!

Laura Geller did have a series of face palettes many years ago, sold through QVC. There was one for every day of the week. Each one was about the size of a cell phone and had eye shadows, blush, and highlight. I'm not a believer in bronzer so they served me just fine.
I love full face pallets and watching your videos is how I’ve ended up with the It cosmetics beauty book. Initially I was excited about this but the beauty book is better. Think I’ll stick to those instead.
Thanks for the review! I love a subtle look when I'm traveling or in a hurry, and this is a perfect fit for my skin tone and preferences. I still want a deeper matte brown that isn't so cool in this and the IT Cosmetics palette from last year, but I can bring along a single or mix in the bronzer. At this price (there was also a discount code on QVC when I logged in), I had to try it!
I'm always surprised brands still put out universal full face palettes that are not at all universal... The correctors would definitely be too pale for me and I'm just barely light-medium in skin tone.
Wouldn’t it be cool if a company came out with a folded case like this and you could pick out all the stuff you wanted in it?

Emily adopted 2 kittens and each of her girls named them. They were sisters from the same litter. They really are so cute.
I haven't bought one of these in a long time. This one is nice and compact though and you can easily fit it in your purse.

I agree about the eye look! That final shade brings out the green essence in the brown of Emily's lovely eyes. I also love the subtlety of powder liner as opposed to liquid. This is gorgeous.

I love a full face palette and you definitely got me into the IT cosmetics beauty books! I love it for everyday and especially for traveling. You know a product is good when you have so many palettes, whether they’re eyeshadow palettes, blush or bronzer palettes and you keeping coming back to it. This Laura Geller one looks fun too. Then I thought this is Emily and she can make this work if anyone can. I love the finished look and thank you for teaching me to look beyond the surface with my makeup too. This is interesting. I bought some Laura Geller products on your recommendation. I wish that she had put in two blushes (with one of them a much deeper colour) instead of both powder and cream highlighters.
Thanks for the review. I've been a fan of the IT full face palettes -- I have the last 3 and the oldest is all but used up. I ordered the Geller one last night, so I was glad to see your demo and get your opinion on this one. Enjpy your content and trust your advice.
Mine arrived today and I had to try it. Subtle is the name of the game, but that is what I was looking for. One thing I don't like is the products are not labeled as to use and there is no leaflet with directions.

This is a beautiful, full face palette! I don’t think I need it but I love that it has everything in it.
Every year when you review the IT Cosmetics full face palette, I always end up buying them. I don’t really use them that often. I’m thinking I’m going to take one or two with me to Florida with me. I thought I wanted more mattes and a more pigmented blush , but this look really works. The cheek products made your skin look glowing and flawless. That last shimmer shadow (Shindig) was deep enough to really amp up the glam, and it did that thing that a well pigmented shimmer does. Your lip shade is autumnal perfection.
I feel like this would work as a grab-and-go palette, with enough variety to allow for some wiggle room. It's not taking up a lot of room in my tote.
Now that I’ve minimized my makeup collection, something like this would be really nice. Just wish I could have my liquid products somehow in there too 😆

How well does it wear? While I tend to love the initial look of the It palettes, I always feel like the blush and shadows fade really quickly.
One commenter said this looks like old stock from 2 yrs ago; she said she has the same one, and she bought it back then. IDK if that's true or not, but I wouldn't buy this just because it doesn't seem to be her real formulas, which are Incredible! I've got one bronzer, and 3 single blushes from her, and they're so smooth, they just glide over the skin, and create this luxurious, luminous flush of color. This formula doesn't appear to be that, which is sad because people who've never tried her brand before, and end up buying a sub par product, isn't good business. Can't wait for the IT Cosmetics palette!

Laura Geller did have a series of face palettes many years ago, sold through QVC. There was one for every day of the week. Each one was about the size of a cell phone and had eye shadows, blush, and highlight. I'm not a believer in bronzer so they served me just fine.

Thanks for the review! I love a subtle look when I'm traveling or in a hurry, and this is a perfect fit for my skin tone and preferences. I still want a deeper matte brown that isn't so cool in this and the IT Cosmetics palette from last year, but I can bring along a single or mix in the bronzer. At this price (there was also a discount code on QVC when I logged in), I had to try it!
Use the bronzer as an eyeshadow. That should help.

That "blue" eyeshadow is interesting.
I'm always surprised brands still put out universal full face palettes that are not at all universal... The correctors would definitely be too pale for me and I'm just barely light-medium in skin tone.
multiple tones would always be a better play!
